    Suggestions for teaching younger kids

Sorry, I'm not trying to be overly eager or overly demanding, we do keep it simple. Close straight in shots. I like the hanger idea, they'll enjoy shooting around the table like that.

    Suggestions for teaching younger kids

Yes I want it to be fun for them. Have you seen the V-shaped bridge for disabled folks? I thought it might make a good tool for them, since the bridge is also difficult at this age. I'm also thinking about trying a croquet-like game on the carpet with pool balls so I can get them accustomed to a...

    Suggestions for teaching younger kids

Yes, I agree on all fronts, but the problem is moving the milk crates around to each shot gets tiring for them. Maybe they're not big enough, which is ok, but wondered if there were other options. I've also thought about the bottle lesson to develop a smooth stroke.

    Cortland Linen Cue

Yes, definitely interested but I also am not sure how to tell whether it is Cortland or not. My lay understanding is that Cortland tends to be much whiter with fewer green specs but with the age of a TS, it may be Cortland. Great cue but how do we determine the wrap?

    Suggestions for teaching younger kids

I've got a 7yr old and a 10yr old and have been trying to teach them about pool. I have a 9ft in our house that I play on regularly and they've started to ask about playing with me. This is great but I'm noticing that because they can't orient their bodies to the level of the table, they can't...

    Cortland Linen Cue

Looking for a Cortland Linen wrapped cue. Heard it feels amazing but tough to find. I like stiff playing cues and thinner butts if possible, but understand that may be even more difficult to find given the historical period of time Cortland was in use. Open to wide range of prices depending upon...

    Sugartree cues (Eric Crisp)

I am sad to hear this experience about Eric and have only had great experiences with him. True he was slow in getting the cue to me, but he also made me a second cue because the first was slightly off spec. He also agreed to add an extension which he hadn't tried before at the time and didn't...

Who makes the best linen wrap?

Here's a pic of the wrap on my DPK. I don't know if that tells folks anything. I like the wrap on my exceed too, but it doesn't feel as smooth as the DPK.

Who makes the best linen wrap?

I've traveled the wrapless cue path and the leather wrap path, and I keep returning to a linen style wrap. It feels great in the hand and the sweat gets soaked up, but I've encountered different feels of linen wraps and I'm wondering who offers the best wrap? I recently bought a big DPK and the...
