    Thanks Stan Shuffett

Thank you, Stan. I've never looked at the table and relationship of balls in general the same way since I worked with you.

I also had my best friend observe as a spotter, so that he could make sure that the cue was going in the same spot under each individual area. This was a very eye-opening experiment, to say the least. No pun intended.

This exercise also helped me determine that I can pretty much line up like I normally have for LH cuts. However, for RH cuts, I need to move my head slightly to the left of my comfort zone to put the cue more under the far right edge of my right eye. It prevents me from chronic overcuts on...

    ••• Straight-in Shots •••

Since I've actually met Joey A and respect him so much, I broke down and did this a few minutes ago. I've always wanted to try to nail down my VC and this prompting has got me a bit excited. THIS was done dead cold. Hadn't hit a ball. Shot in the following order. Left eye = LH...

    ••• Straight-in Shots •••

Just to clarify, you are shooting these up the rail into the respective corner? The OB being 1 ball-width off the rail? Do you shoot these along the rail to provide an illusion to really test the eyes? I say that because I seem to fare better on a straight-in when it's in the middle of the...

Bosch GTL2 laser tool, easy way to mark table

Do you have a link to the one you've used? I Googled it, but it looks like it's showing me various Bosch units under that search.

    Comments on Poolology

So, just based on what I see, you would divide 32 by 24? That would be 1.33333, so......is that somehow a 1/3rd ball hit? I mean, it kinda makes sense. As in, if you did the math and it produced a value of 1.0......its a full ball hit. Am I in the ballpark?

The Best Thing to Come Along Since the Leather Tip...

After watching a Poolology introductory video, I do NOT believe it's the exact same system or method. However, I see where there is a major overlap in a way that I've not seen with any others, except those two. I think I'm going to order this, because I feel they would greatly compliment each...

The Best Thing to Come Along Since the Leather Tip...

Just based on what I read in the OP, this sounds like what one well-known pro has been teaching for a long time now. If it is the same system, it's powerful.

TREFX: new pivot aiming system by Salux

This is basically Ron Vitello's 90/90 system, except it's missing a part or two for the very thin cuts, straight-ins, and banks.

    Starting a pool league...

A great website to use in running tournaments and tracking stats is www.poolplayermatchups.com It's ran by a handful of guys that can give you a quick tutorial. One of them, Rex Yoder, is here on AZB. We use it in our statewide league here in Arkansas. Not sure I could be any happier.

    Any paperless leagues out there?

It's simple, Bryan. If you need the guy to dump, put him up against the toughest opponent on the other team and let the bagger go down. He basically takes one for the team. Gets shut-out. So, if he was a 29, he drops down to say a 27. This allows him to match up better the next time around...
