Yes I have the great fortune to utilize the expertise and tooling of the Broos shop the same as xpat. Even better for me though is I don't have to work for him. Lol Alrhough as he is my best friend I'm not sure I'm any further ahead either. Hahaha. Don is good people believe me on that one.

As the time approaches for a decision I'm undecided about what type of wrap to put on this cue. I'm torn between a white with green spec linen, a plain black leather or maybe a nice lizard wrap. Anybody out there in Az land have any opinions?

Thanks Trent with the dissatisfaction with the butt sleeve I held off on a final sand and buff of the forearm that's why there are still some tooling marks on the joint. It will all be rectified shortly

Here is another cue almost ready to hit some balls. I was not happy with the finish on the butt sleeve so it has been sanded down and needs to get hit a couple more times with clear. Hope everyone likes. Any and all opinions are welcome

Not nitpicking at all. Bad lighting is still bad lighting but I am however 99.99% certain they are the same wood as they came off the same square. Lol. Will post new pics as I get more coats of clear

Both the points and the butt sleeve are some of the best cocobolo I had. The pics of the points don't do the coloring justice. It almost comes across as rosewood. I am very happy with how this cue turned out. I have a second cue with touching points heading into the spray booth very soon

Go to Michaels and look at their shadow boxes. They should have something that will work for a two piece with a little extra work

The one time I tried a CA finish with the Predator decal it dissolved it. I hope you have more than one if you run into the same peoblem

Just to clarify for xpat cause I have seen the cue in person the outer veneer before the black is actually a vibrant purple. The pics show it as white, light blue, royal blue, black but it is actually white, light blue, purple, black. The cue is just stunning. Congrats to Justin and I know Dean...
