A- Z Billiard use to be about all thing Cue Sport Related.

I do like the main forum as it's good read. It does amaze me how a subject can take a left turn and several posts have nothing to do with the OP posting. I have though, seen some posts that some members ridicule right from the start and basically shame the OP with quips that just don't make...

Jogger's heel / plantar fasciitis and pool

I done about everything you can think of, so darn bad, every shoe, every insert, some relief in getting a wrap at a walgreens that ends up in a X behind and above your heel, then a sock and then a slip on foot and ankle support, Thirteen months of pain, luckily, it was my lead foot in pool as...

Maybe stupid question about cue weight.

I may be duplicating what many good players have already said, but, over the years in selling hundreds of cues, I have had people walk in and say they need a 18 oz. cue or a 21 oz. cue and so forth. I do not have the weight of the cues posted on each cue and just tell them to put the sample...

    Another HOF Inductee Story

Well deserved indeed, if Jean was not around, Mary K easily would have tripled her titles, but, goes to show this gal was a gamer. Congrat's and well earned.

    passing of Rihard Phillippi

I am sorry to hear about his passing. I never met him personally, but had one of his cues come through and it needed a collar on the shaft repaired. That cue was one of the best hitting and constructed cues I have ever shot with. He also fixed a small blemish in the cue which was no big deal...

Ae schmidt atlas pro 8 foot

I've played on a few AE Schmidt tables and personally feel they are a solid table. If you can buy it right, you will have no regrets. My personal thoughts that their construction is above average and it would be a table that will last you a long time.

    We're not all the same...

This post is just my opinion and not a direct response other than possibly to the bar owner. I am a small business with 30 + employees and we are essential to the military, medical and agriculture industries. With 75 % of us who have been here at least 25 to 40 years, every morning, we check...

Ned Morris Custom 4 pointer w/veneers (July 2020)

I have not talked with Ned in a long time, probably going back to the WNBA's U.S. Open way back from 2000-2001. Ned's cues hit as well as any top line cues and when it comes to jump-break cues, he knows what he is doing. Great to see some of his work, going to call him today and see if I can...

Cue Lost - USPS Shipping - Who's Responsible??

I ship usps priority mail, with tracking, with insurance and with signature on delivery. I have had people ask me not ship with a signature on delivery, sorry, no dice, Sure, I want to be protected, but as important, I want to protect my buyer.

    Joss Cue Question

If you really want to make sure it's a joss, ask the seller for the serial number stamped into the stainless steel joint of the butt. No serial number, no Joss. You could even send a email to joss with the serial number and in time, confirm it's a cue they made matching the cue description.

    McDermott D19 Cue

The D Series were really fantastic cues when they came out. My first D-19 was a little odd looking and I talked to Jim Mcdermott about it Two of the points that were opposite of each other were jet black ebony and the two other points opposite of each other were a little browner in color, not...

8 ball best way to break

I am a league player on 7 foot valley bar box tables, sadly, the plastic racks are usually warped here and there and it is a challenge to get a 8 ball rack the way it's intended. At home, I have a solid wood rack which makes it much easier to get a solid tight rack, but, so much easier as if I...

    Please return the Tascarella

I am praying it's just a late delivery for the holidays. Dean, you have treated me like gold and I've tried to always out do you in return. But, if the cue ended up somewhere here in Minnesota, give me the details and I'll head to the area. Hopefully, you can pinpoint the person and ask someone...

    RIP Gary Benson

My thoughts to the Bensen family. I am a amateur player only as I play in the VNEA league program. I have participated in roughly the last 30 VNEA world championships in Las Vegas and one in Reno and can't say for sure in the early days if I knew Gary or not, but as the years went by, we would...

    Missing Gilbert Cue

Sadly, the label shows what the value of the item is. I was waiting for a ups package once and found it on a ups auction site. A team of ups security people visited the person who won the auction, refunded him, and sent me the cue. Some great AZers saw the for sale item and alerted the seller...
