Steve,
I thought I would put your cue and another one next to each other, hoping / guessing that you may have not seen the other one.
Briefly, what I saw is one unbelievable pair from the two great-grand masters:
I think they would look so nice next to each other :)
PS: I hope TommyT...
Ladies and Gents,
Here is the last Tad cue that I may share you here - just like the previous ones, this one belongs to Fatboy as well. I believe this to be a Tadpole cue but I am sure Eric will tell more details.
Here are the pictures for your viewing pleasure:
The forearm:

Dean is right on with this as well. The cue appears to be extremely solid, looks very-very nice to me - just like the way it should be done. Hats off for the maker for the looks - if I could just simply invest $750 in trying it out I'd take it right away.
Good luck with it.
Apparently you search for the very same things in cues as I and I believe that using other shafts just isn't the right thing to do. I would like to try pre-cat 314 shafts though for longer time as I have already played with one but only briefly.
I also think that a cuemaker or cue builder...
Here is another Tad of Eric, I think that it is pretty unique, looks like a Titlist forearm to me with straight grain maple and this is what Eric said as well. I am sure he will tell us more when he has time to.
I'll put up one more within a few days! Enjoy :)
I, personally, have a lot of respect for Mike Bender and his work and sometimes I feel like they are way under-appreciated.
There was a very-very nice fellow in another forum at Seybert's Billiard Supply's page - and if I'm not mistaken he once used to post here as well - and he had a beautiful...
...shafts back from the time when they were built the way they should be built.
Good luck - if I already had a cue to put one of these on I would have pulled the trigger.
Berny,
That is a wonderful pick that reflects good taste. I assume it has been a fine experience dealing with Troy from onthehill :) I know I have seen this cue there and it caught my eye...
So, how do you like the joint and the shafts particularly - I know you have mentioned these but what is...
I decided to throw in my two cents worth after reading 155 replies...
I think that we are living in a new age and that we have to adapt to it. We can read it many times a week on this board that 'If only I ordered a dozen of 700 dollar priced fancy cues from Gus' or if only I bought that Bushka...
Here is one of them, the rings above the wrap remind me a lot more of a Bushka than a Tad and overall a great looking cue.
I must leave now and will post more pics if Eric sends me more, when I get back!
Hold on until then! :)
So, now I know that in the country of 300 million people there is someone who has sold a Gina, won't play anymore and also has a South West for sale...
Please PM me a price and specs when you have them,
Thank you,
David
I don't know whether you can really rely on that opinion considering both the age of this cue and other custom cue makers who have their rings unmatched - consider SW here.
If the rings match in colour then they were made at the very same time - as you may see other cues that have rebuilt and...
Jay,
Thank you for the quick and very informative reply!
I am waiting for a money transfer of a couple of bucks to my USD bank account and so I can send you the money for it by the time I receive it.
It shouldn't take any longer than 4-5 days, maybe a week, max.
Would you send it to me to...
I would like to ask if you have issues that contain articles about famous cue makers... It is as if I could recall a magazine that has had a Szamboti box cue on its cover... I could be completely wrong here, but maybe I am not and if you had this volume, I would like to purchase it, most likely...
College really does Suck, I am just after my exam period with 10 awful exams and 30 days of continuous studying.
I have sent you a PM and I would like to know how does the rings line up throughout the cue and especially at the joint when assembled.
Thank you!
David Bredan
I really-really like the Kers, in my opinion each DPK that surfaces is much like a diamond from the rough. I, personally, love the Chicago-style cues of Bill Schick.
One more thing: I think, considering that how limited his production is, fancy Bluegrass cues should be a good choice as well -...
