One place straight pool will always be played primarily is Dallas West's State and Madison Billiards, Rockford, IL. Monthly double elimination tourney to 100 pts. Fortunately for us Dallas doesn't play in it but his son does and often wins. Come on down.

Go with a Pat Diveney. I own 2 and they hit and play great as well as look great. They play on par with some of my higher end cues. His workmanship is perfect. Go with a G-10 pin and Moori tip. You won't regret it. I think IndyQ has a few available, check out his website.

I couldn't agree more. How can you even compare a Boti, Tasc or other custom cue shaft to Predator or OB-1. They are not even in the same league. I have tried only the Predator and it fell short of the 50+ custom shafts I have. No comparison in my humble opinion. Give me 4.0+ 13mm custom...

My opinion, get your money back! Otherwise this could turn into a complicated drama and I don't believe I would ever be happy with a "repair", I'd always know there was a hidden problem. It would just plain drive me nuts even if I didn't have to pay for it. That's just the way I feel.

Bill's cues are overly under rated! They play consistantly great. The ivory jointed custom cues he most recently made are fantastic. Workmanship is impeccable, shafts are completely interchangeable from cue to cue and match perfectly. And they are a real value. Where can you find a quality...
