Hmmm
Sword is Justin's stake horse. Wonder if he might be a tad biased? Shame he is too lazy to type everything he heard! Just more subjective BS.

Just heard from my friend Larry Moy (co-author of the Straight Pool Bible with Babe). He said he is still in touch with Babe's wife (Ruth) and she celebrated her 96th Birthday in November.
Babe was one of the great 14.1 players. Good to hear that his wife is still with us!

WPA Update
Dear All
I am pleased to advise you that the problems with the Yushan event have been resolved and everyone is free to play without any concerns. Thanks to all of you who supported our stand on this important matter, it definitely helped in us getting the matter resolved. I wish all...
Danny
Sometimes we think we no longer want to hear someone speak. I have felt that way about some older gentleman in my poolroom. Then they are gone and I truly miss their voice and stories.
I for one am not looking forward to the day when I can not look forward to hearing Danny's commentary...
Wow
Karen is not eligible for the regional event as well as any other top pro's.
Doesn't matter though as Karen quit the WPBA. Why do people keep coming up with other reasons?
She quit...

I noticed that also
When Jim originally ask for input on earlier threads almost no one said boo. Now the "Legends of the Forums" berate the hell out of his ideas.Too bad the "self proclaimed know it all" members didn't offer their sage advise when Jim originally ask.

Not Bad WPBA
Two of the three arguably best female players that ever wielded a cue have quit the WPBA since its inception. That would be Jean Balukas and Karen Corr. Better not piss Allison Fisher off!

The WPBA just posted its Top 16 players on Facebook. The prior 3rd ranked player, Karen Corr is not on the list. Karen is no longer a member of the WPBA. Too bad they couldn't hang on to a BCA HOF player!

Poor Timing
Probably lack of interest due to Turning Stone happening at the same time. Posting on the Live Stream, Main Forum and Tournament Section shows little if no interest. Hope interest picks up as One Pocket is a great game but hard to compete with the free Turning Stone live stream!

Karen Corr
She gives the majority of her lessons at Champions in Frederick MD which is a 100 mile round trip drive from her home in Arlington VA. $100 per hour is reasonable. I can assure you she gets many repeat lessons as she is a great instructor.

Yep
Since you seem to be one of the forum folks, let us in on some of the
BS challenges. Danny Smith one pocket...nah they played
Jason Shaw...damn they played also

Johnny and Rodney hmmmm...no they played
Dennis big...
Bergman's latest Facebook BS
Sky Woodward and me have a $100k match $50,000 a team big table 9 ball. John French is in charge of the money and he wants to pick a place that is going to cater to the players. So if anyone pool room is interested in having this match please get ahold of me or...
3000 Euro's?
The tournament is a 312 player format with group stages and a final elimination round, the winner takes home 3000 Euros.
That is a small payout for a tournament of this size.
