    ob 1 or classic

I prefer the classic pro (11.75 diameter) shaft. If I'm not concentrating and hitting the cue ball right you know it. It make me focus more on where I strike the cue ball and the alignment for the shot. Also, you can soften your stroke and get more action on the cue ball without moving to far...

    Great shot makers

Greg Stephens was one of the most pure shot makers in the 70's. I watched him play a lot at Time Square in Dallas. If he could see any part of the ball he could make it. He could cut balls unbelievably.

    Danny Medina update

Great memories shared Lewis! I'll alway remember Danny as one of the best breaks in the game. I was at a tournament in Norman,OK in the early 90's and Danny broke and the cue ball hit he lights and broke them. We all looked at him and he said but the cue still sitting in the middle of the...

Could you ask around and see if Jr. Norris is still alive and how he is doing. I haven't heard about him in a long time. Sparky Web lives there and ran with Jr. but haven't heard anything on him either. Jr. was a champion player in his day. Thanks, Charlie

    Help playing one handed

I agree with light cue and balance point but I aimed over the cue ball and dropped down to stroke. When I played a lot of one hand in the 70's we could not touch the table with any part of our bodies. Position is the key playing one hand, keeping the cue ball about 12in. of the rail and I always...

Couple of Really Old Adam cue for sales!!

I have one just like the first picture that I had cut down for a friends son in 1995. I have it back and my grandson is playing with it. I got the cue in the late 60's when the guy did not have the money to pay up, so I took the cue.

so let me get this straight

I never agreed with seeding in tournaments. I pay my money the same as everyone else and take my chances. If your the best player that tournament you will win, if not why do you deserve an advantage over anyone else. If you want something for free then ask Obama for a free phone.

Playing good in a tourney or a money match?

Speaking for myself I don't like races (short races), but fortunately in tournaments today they keep getting shorter. Back in my gambling days I would not do races. We did the game thing till someone pulled up, was busted, or we set a time frame to quit. SVB plays long race because he has the...
