2+ Years with a REVO Shaft.

I've been shooting with the Cuetec Cynergy for a year...love it so much I bought a second one as a back up (in case I throw a tip). ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE in the feel and performance between the two...and I could always tell between the two maple shafts on any of my custom cues. The low end...

The other cue in The Color Of Money

That's the Joss J18 Balabushka tribute...he's asking about the cue Tom Cruise uses after he leaves Eddie (Eddie takes the 'bushka back) and they play in the final tournament. Tom's cue at the end of the movie is a Joss "Aces" cue.

    Cuetec Cynergy in-depth review

I just bought a second Cynergy for my case...I like it THAT much! :)

The other cue in The Color Of Money

It was a Joss "Aces" cue. You have to freeze frame-by-frame through the tournament scene to get a glimpse of the butt, but here it is...https://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=251637 https://youtu.be/h4RKgor7iO8?list=PLdvgwpWxSILyzUSge8YxORK6wEdDCkCjg&t=73 (hit pause as soon as it...

My Home Room- Dot's Cue Club in Rocky Mount, NC

What's it looking like for Memorial Day? I'm headed down to Wilmington for the holiday, wondering if I should pack my cue?

JB Custom Cases - which one would you get?

Regardless what you think of his adventures/opinions, he makes ONE HELL of a case. Nobody today can touch it.

JB Custom Cases - which one would you get?

I've got a 3x6 Mason with my nickname tooled into it, two pockets. Best case I've ever owned, very functional, top quality construction.

touch of inside. CJ has me hooked

Two of the biggest benefits are: 1. Consistent alignment...the added consideration of the TOI anchors you in when just lining up and dropping onto the shot tends to break down. 2. The slight inside cancels out most of your collision-induced spin on the CB, which gets VERY predictable and...

Played pool at a bowling alley. Never again. Questions?

I played in some dives in my time...one was a biker bar in Leesville, LA (I was in the Army at Ft. Polk) where I took $200 off a MC member one night on a crappy, unleveled Valley Cougar (I played Busch League at another bar, and had competed there a couple of times, so I knew the table). My...

Do we still need different cue balls on tv?

What's wrong with everyone's tvs? Mine shows the regular colors just fine...never understood why the push for "tv balls". The measle ball was developed so people could see the spin put on different shots, which is fine by me.

    Back to Wood?

I love my Cynergy...can't put it down. I tried my favorite wood shaft (Gulyassy SPTX) for a rack and hated it. I'm a convert. I can still shoot with wood, but really prefer CF in every way.

    A Story Thread

I tried a section of a HMMWV radio antenna (kevlar) with layers of 100 mph tape for a tip. Jumped like a beast. :)

    what is an Eiffel taper

Yes, it's called a parabolic taper.

Looking for info on these cues!

The Joss J18 you have is the first run, with the full butt cap, just like the movie model. Folks will pay pretty good money for that, in excess of $800 or so. The Joss West is worth a few thousand, it's a beauty...fairly high end even for a Bill Stroud cue. He had excellent taste in cues, and...

A VERY SAD DAY - RIP Bill Stroud

Rest in Peace...I'll never forget "the one that got away"...I walked into a pool room in Columbus, GA back in the '80s and saw a beautiful JossWest with four shafts...it was for sale for $400. I had $250 in my pocket, the room owner wouldn't take a check. I ran to Ft. Benning PX and cashed the...

Anybody have a D-23 McD for sale?

I had one in the late '80s with a black cork wrap. Hated the wrap but LOVED the cue. I sold it to buy a high end Joss that ended up getting stolen out of my car. I miss it, it really hit good. I qualified for the nationals at the World Series of Bar Games (Coors Lite) with it, playing out of...
