If you are going to be taking photos of many cues, e.g. to sell them online, get a camera with a separate/ removable flash unit and learn how to bounce the flash of the wall/ and or ceiling. This is a good way to get even, white light without much glare. Also make sure you have the right lens...

I think the nine should be a call-shot at all times, even when you make it by playing off the low ball in the rotation. If you slop it in off the low ball, you spot it up and continue your turn, but no point. If you slop another ball in while shooting the nine, your inning ends. JMO.
