Tor's stuff is top notch. He is a very good communicator and simplifies the process. I've not seen much better teaching material, and the price is amazing. I don't care how well he plays but it's quite obvious that he can play quite well. I don't think Lou Holtz was a great football player...

Have you looked at his MC record?? His winning percentage is less than 20% over two times playing for USA. Just saying, why not give someone else a shot. I know he is a great player but so are these other candidates.

No matter who Mark picked, someone is bound to be disappointed. Overall, he had a super tough job in picking his candidates. He did well in adding some fresh blood to the mix. I personally look very forward to the upcoming MC. We may just be surprised as to how well team USA competes. Time...

My understanding is that 4 spots go to SVB, J. Schmidt, Brandon Shuff and Corey. The 5th spot will go to one of the other four, Oscar, Bergman, Sossei or Hall. Is this correct??

I thought it as pretty entertaining once they got past the first two games.. Congrats to Lou, I'm pretty certain that the better 1P player won this match. It was pretty evident. I too look forward to Lou's detailed write up! Popcorn is popping.

I'd tell the captain to suck it. Life is too short to play pool with a captain that's a total moron. JMHO

Regardless of the outcome, it's a much closer race than I expected after watching the first 2 games. Lou looked to be in total control but JB did battle back and make some nice shots. Both players missed plenty of shots that you just have to make, that's 1P. Hell, it's a tough game...

If the first game is any indication, I think JB may be in trouble. He made 2 pretty bad shots IMHO. Not saying I'd do any better, just an observation. Hope he is going to work the kinks out and that this match is a good one.

I will say this. Tor's training is totally legit. If you are doing what he teaches and you don't improve, you aren't trying. I've got no dog in this fight but can tell you that just in doing the ball pocketing drills alone has helped my game a ton. YMMV

I'm with Dave on this one. I don't get why people are so uptight. It's just a game. Always try to consider the other person is just ignorant, which does not mean stupid. They just don't know. I like to stay chill myself.

Gift... No shot! This is why I NEVER pay as a gift nor do I request it from my buyers. Unless I know for certain who I am dealing with, it would not be an option. I hope you don't get screwed too. But the lack of communication would leave me very uneasy if I were you.
