So ESPN can't find time for pool?

Hey, it was YOUR example of the supposed burgeoning growth of pool internationally. What was going on in Germany in the 70s is meaningless, but this is your style - everytime you get called out on your view of things you deflect to something that is irrelevant as a distraction.

So ESPN can't find time for pool?

No, it means that Koreans are more interested in 3c than Americans are. This is not rocket science.

So ESPN can't find time for pool?

No, someone in that situation is still bad at cord cutting because given the tastes you described it was a bad decision to cut the cord in the first place. Cord cutting shouldn't mean trying to duplicate the cable service for less money because, as you indicate, that doesn't work. It means...

So ESPN can't find time for pool?

I watch what I want to watch when I want to watch it, without being led around by networks. There isn't a single program you listed that I have the slightest desire to see. I'm not a slave to "must watch" TV propaganda or FOMO on the latest episode of the latest TV rehash of something they...

Are professionals supposed to call fouls on themselves?

Deception in poker is part of the fundamental fabric of the game. Deception by wannabe hustlers in pool is why pool has such a scummy reputation among the public at large. Actual honesty doesn't get blurry. Rationalizing dishonesty is what gets blurty.

So ESPN can't find time for pool?

Like I said, you are really bad at cord cutting, as is anyone who subscribes to all of those. The only thing you listed that I subscribe to is peacock. Plus I have Amazon Prime, which is essentially free, since I get it for the free shipping. The point of cord cutting is it allows you to be...

So ESPN can't find time for pool?

It's like the guy who watches a pool match and then says, "I don't see why people say that Mosconi guy is so great. I never saw him make a hard shot."

So ESPN can't find time for pool?

Funny how your great example isn't even pool, it is 3C. Which is a much better spectator game than pool.

So ESPN can't find time for pool?

It is relevant as a contra data point with your claims about the burgeoning growth pool is experiencing internationally. If what you claim was true pool would very much be in the running to be added to the Olympics. But it's not. Because that burgeoning growth is all in you head as we see...

So ESPN can't find time for pool?

Cuesports are part of the World Games, which is like Olympics lite, and all of those issues have been dealt with there. As I'm sure such an expert on international pool must surely know.

So ESPN can't find time for pool?

Wow, 200 tables in a city of 12.5 million. One 18 table poolroom in a country of 4 million. Yup, pool is exploding in Europe.

So ESPN can't find time for pool?

When I went to Bordeax a few years ago to watch the 3C world championships I tried to find places to play so I could experience 3c in Europe. Couldn't find a thing.

So ESPN can't find time for pool?

If that was your experience then you were really really bad at cutting the cord.

We've been hearing your labor pains for a long time yet still no sign of a baby.

So ESPN can't find time for pool?

No, you have a 9-ball race to 100 and have to fire a cannon every 2 games to wake everybody up.

Are professionals supposed to call fouls on themselves?

Personally, if someone is being dishonest I think it is better to just stop playing with them than to compromise my own honesty.

Are professionals supposed to call fouls on themselves?

    Only the honest ethical ones.

    Resources for three cushion?

I think the only way to get this is by playing, preferable with better players. While there are patterns it is not cookbook. There are always adjustments to make, and sometimes something that looks like a 3c shot turns out to be much easier as a 5c shot.

    Resources for three cushion?

Hoppe had nothing to do with creating the diamond system and never used it in his play. There is a passage in the Byrnes' book McGoorty where McGoorty comes upon Hoppe trying out the diamond system and Hoppe says something like, "It works, Danny, but your stroke has to be perfect.". I never...

    Resources for three cushion?

To the OP - 1) you don't need a billiard cue in the early going, but if you keep with the game you will eventually want one. Personally, I have a Hanbat, which is a high quality brand with a number of very reasonably priced models. You can find them in the kozoom store. hanbat on kozoom...
