Glen we both know their production numbers, it’s great for them. But that number of tables spread across the globe isn’t a dent in pool. They need to be making 50X more tables and have 25 competitors making as many tables to reach a meaningful number.

It’s fun to dream about but the numbers just ain’t there. The interest of people and how they budget their time isn’t there. It’s over, it’s been over. Hells bells boxing is over with UFC came along and that was that. Football in Europe is doing ok as is F1 but very few spectator sports or participant sports are making any $. It’s just not realistic.

When I went to Bordeax a few years ago to watch the 3C world championships I tried to find places to play so I could experience 3c in Europe. Couldn't find a thing.

Wow, 200 tables in a city of 12.5 million. One 18 table poolroom in a country of 4 million. Yup, pool is exploding in Europe.

Cuesports are part of the World Games, which is like Olympics lite, and all of those issues have been dealt with there. As I'm sure such an expert on international pool must surely know.

It is relevant as a contra data point with your claims about the burgeoning growth pool is experiencing internationally. If what you claim was true pool would very much be in the running to be added to the Olympics. But it's not. Because that burgeoning growth is all in you head as we see when when you triumphally roll out the 200 tables in Moscow as the jewel in your crown.

Like I said, you are really bad at cord cutting, as is anyone who subscribes to all of those. The only thing you listed that I subscribe to is peacock. Plus I have Amazon Prime, which is essentially free, since I get it for the free shipping. The point of cord cutting is it allows you to be selective.

It also means missing out on all the shows you were watching, before they all got split up on their own streaming networks! If you want to keep up with them, then you have to subscribe to each individual streaming platform, Game of Thrones, Blacklist, Walking Dead, Person of Interest....are all on separate platforms! All requiring a subscription!

Absolutely serious here, though it sounds facetious, we need a mullet vs mullet match and the loser gets the clippers. It works for high school pep rallies and WWE. Surely pool could go a bit viral and all that is at risk is some flowing locks.

You could also have a mullet and a clean shaven, clean cut wants mullets gone as it looks bad for the sport. Of course mullet wins and creates a dynasty.

This is totally not true for many people, depending on what kind of viewer you are. If you just want to watch a bunch of good tv programs and movies, and aren't particular about what they are as long as there are a lot of good ones, then you can probably get away with just all the free stuff out there, or maybe just need to buy one major premium service at most. But if there are a number of particular shows that you consider to be must haves, and to a lesser extent if you also watch a wider variety of different types of content than just movies and television series and the like, then chances are you are going to need a minimum of several different major and several different minor premium streaming services and the cost is going to add up to be more (sometimes a ton more) than it is for cable where you were able to get all your must haves in one place.

Don't flip any switches with a world viewing audience, they don't need gimmicks to get a viewing audience, leave that shit to the American viewers, which is more than likely the lowest viewing audience of all countries!
