Private pool club - how many members for a 6 table club?

Most people don't realize and take for granted just how perceptive Human eyesight is. Most LED light emitters luminance and chromaticity are severely lacking and the film picture tells the story. Halogen lighting comes the closest to producing Sunlight. Objects like billiard balls under halogen...

Private pool club - how many members for a 6 table club?

Thanks for the great reply Tim. Very smart to have another steady stream of revenue from your BBQ business, to help along your pool hall. Since you will be a 6 table operation, your catering business plan might work also. I would be doing some recon work here that will cost you a few bucks and...

    1940 - 1959 Brunswick tables

There are some very good Epoxy top coat/finish products out there. There is a very good water based product made by Zar Poly OMU that is self leveling and has a 30 minute dry time. The Zar product was about 80 dollars a gallon when I last bought some, but it lays down perfectly, looks great and...

    1940 - 1959 Brunswick tables

You can buy remnants, or a whole flitch of Macassar Ebony or Coromandel Ebony that is cut to veneer thickness already. If going this route I would use a quality vacuum bag setup when gluing the Ebony veneer panels to the table pieces.

anyone know this person making new rails for brunswick tables?

Great looking work and are the new rails still available? Have you added the option of installing the newer design, flush to the rail pockets that GC V/VI and Rasson tables now have? I am looking at a GC 1 that came out of a pool hall 20 years ago and has sat unused since then, so no telling...

    Removing GC2 Formica On Rails

Great work and the Devil is in the details. Prep work is 80% of the job. Did you use a Fuji Q5 spray rig?

    1940 - 1959 Brunswick tables

Sure a nifty ball washer you fabricated up there rexus31. A 7 1/4" car buffer motor being used? Here are the specs for the Moderne table made from 1937 to 1946. 1" slate same as the Anniversary and Centennial slates were...

    1940 - 1959 Brunswick tables

Which older models of Brunswick tables are commercial grade tables? I grew up in NYC and spent a lot of time playing on Brunswick Anniversary and Centennial tables. The Anniversary models came in 3 different trim styles IIRC and the plain Jane table that had no chrome adorning it, was still a...
