    flying with case

That's amazing... i have several cue cases and only one will fit in a 29 inch suitcase diagonal. 22-24? wow...

Was I wrong for not telling my opponent he's shooting the wrong ball?!?!

Hi Robley, I hope you see this message. A friend of mine would like to paypal you $100 for your next road trip. No value adjustments on who is right or wrong, but he was deeply impressed about you standing up in an unlikely venue and making a courageous statement about value judgements...

    flying with case

I put my cue case in my luggage, so I don't have to be charged for two checked bags. If you buy a 30 inch sized suitcase, it will lay diagonal in the suitcase easily. A 29 inch well only hold some pool cases. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk

Hitting the side of the rack for a safe

I was referring to hitting the rack solid and sticking whitey, not thinning balls. Man, I'm bad at describing things, lol. Thanks for the help, Big Tony. :)

Hitting the side of the rack for a safe

Thanks! I wasn't hitting head on, and I think too hard, too. I have a match tonight, hope this shot come up :) Thank you, Ray. So full hit, no English, second ball (if I can). Awesome info! Thank you, Bobby. It was for 14 balls in the rack, not a full rack, and hitting it on the side of...

Hitting the side of the rack for a safe

Lately, I've tried to hit the side of a complete rack for a safe, but the cueball doesn't stop in the rack snug sometimes and moreso, a few balls come out the top or bottom and I sell out some shots. Can someone explain what I'm doing wrong? I'm not hitting the rack too hard, but I am trying...

Was I wrong for not telling my opponent he's shooting the wrong ball?!?!

Fearless, you did the right thing by calling a foul after. Sounds like you can both learn from this, tho. He may pay more attention, and hopefully you wont let him get to you again. Further, I think he overreacted because (1) he was embarrassed he shot out of turn b/c it caught him off...

    Safeties Around the Rack

Great video! I was just asking some friends at the pool room last weekend about these type of safes (no one could provide answers, lol). I wish I could hear better what you are saying... so I could figure out the english to put on some of the shots. Thank you again!

    14.1 ruling confusion

I wanna thank the OP for starting this thread and everyone's replies! I've been playing in a straight pool league for a few years now, yet I did not know the opening break foul could result in an optional rerack. Because of this thread, I looked that rule up, and ironically, in my very...

    My First 14.1 League match

I was playing in my own straight pool match a few tables down from each of these matches this day. I only heard the son say a few things, but wasn't sure what was going on in your match, Jim. I recall he said out loud he was "flustered" (or something like that) because of something that had...
