Experiments in looking at the cueball while delivering the stroke.

I agree Rick, have fun is the most pulling factor for me - "sort of speak". thanks Chrippa

Experiments in looking at the cueball while delivering the stroke.

Hi Rick, I have also studied Gene´s approach and I like it:). For me it´s like this, you can always learn new things and you will always remember the old ones. new learning does just add not detract, in "play" however it can disturb because of so many new things to "remember/think of" but that...

    Question about my stroke.

I agree Joey, there are posters here that I listen and read more "carefully" at and Pidge is one of them. He don´t play in the same manner as me but he is a master of what he is doing and he describes it very good and in a very good manner imo. Thanks Pidge and thanks Joey! I love to open up...

    Question about intentional swerve

I see what I see and I get the message the way I interpret it. I feel however that you seem to want to set your exact points that fits your expectations of the outcome to fit your satisfaction. The world is not a square box to me but I do see that many of us feel the need to have control and...

    Question about intentional swerve

Btw, do read my previous post about mass etc, contact points can be the same but by shifting the mass behind it produces different results, please do look at the big picture. More to be said but for now I will eagerly wait for some respons on my post from forum members. To discuss is very fun...

    Question about intentional swerve

I get you. I still think you can learn a great deal from that imo. Look at the result. You are pivoting very much before the shot to manage the deflection and swerve and he is not but do gets greater spin with good accuracy, that´s how I see it anyway. I would pick the method that simplifies it...

    Question about intentional swerve

Thanks for the pic, I´m having a full poolday tomorrow and I will set it up like that too. I do think you are right though since I use it in a similar way now and then. I´m quite certain also that there is some vids from Dave that shows it very clearly, I think it is when 3 players are checking...

Experiments in looking at the cueball while delivering the stroke.

I´m more interested in the CB today than I was before, well that sounded a bit strange but I hope you get me :p. Anyway, one of my checkings of my aim is to go down just looking at the OB and I can also add "no warm up strokes", I have actually run racks doing just that, it´s amazing how...

    Question about intentional swerve

I´m getting a bit curious and thoughtful.... What is the purpose of your tries when you have set positions for the cue, tip, angle etc that I don´t see the swoope players use when swiping? My understanding of the swoope I get from trying it myself (newbie at what I call it, - "fluid swiping")...

John Schmidt's and Corey Deuel's comments on aiming systems

Rough night Duckie? Isn´t it fun that we all have different opinions at least, imagine everyone thinking and acting the same. Take care and play well Chrippa

Is the Object Ball just a "Mirrored Reflection" of the Cue Ball

I agree. If you can see yourself doing it, - it´s done:). And if you see yourself doing a mistake- it´s done, what is a mistake? To take hold of the miss. Many interesting threads right now, thanks CJ ;-)! Chrippa

    Question about intentional swerve

Well PJ, you will just have to try and take it to the table to figure it out. I wish you a great experience trying by doing:). Chrippa

    Question about intentional swerve

Maybe the answer lies in the question or vice versa.... I´m Swedish but my understanding of your words says something really important imo. When the game rises to another level is when we understand that the cue doesn´t need to be level (level to what?, depends of what view), that there is...

Is the Object Ball just a "Mirrored Reflection" of the Cue Ball

I agree, a god teacher strive to find more explenations explaining the same thing so every pupil can " see it" . Actually very fun imo. I like to find images, pictures etc to explain. Chrippa

    CTP2CTP Aiming

Ok. I wouldn't say that I use a stun shot all the time. I go in to the shot always with inside ( 95%) and shift up and down according to My Will of the shot, if I need spin after the contact I pivot for outside and I can pivot inside also but most of the time I shift parallell inside for inside...
