How do you like it the guy runs 1250 and the guy who embroiders his jacket gets it wrong. I assume he got the jacket made special for the interview and there was not enough time to fix it?

I'm liking this Schrager idea. Do we know if he is still around? Cue has a Martin vibe without the BEM

    Undisclosed Damage

Something just happened in one of my deals a $1500 all original Cue arrived with a cracked ivory joint. Cost to repair will be about $350 butt then I will have a cue valued imo around $1450 with fossilized mammoth ivory joint. Seller and I came to an agreement was refunded $450. I will have...

That's really good info. Only thing I ever played was Apa 8-ball in Hawaii but that definitely helps me get an idea. Thank you.

My thought is a simple make to miss percentage. An 80% shooter will makes 4 balls in a row on average before a miss. A 90% shooter on average would run 9 balls between misses. When playing against an opponent the success of a safety can be measured....against the ghost it can not. My idea is...

To me shot accuracy is making the ball period. All the factors that go into running multiple balls can be ignored they are inherent in make %.

Understood, saying the ghost has to give me the 8 ball or 6 out for me to have an edge is an established rating. My thought is using playing against the ghost to establish an accuracy %. Say you are go for a break out and balls end up real tough instead of shooting a low percentage shot you...

I was thinking shooting spot shots from both end of the table. Play cue where it lies after each shot. As long as it is behind head string. Alternate end to end.

On the spot to spot did he have to play cue where it stopped and did it have to stop behind the head string on each side?

    Shot accuracy % rating system

I was thinking if your playing the ghost you can play safe, if the ghost can hit any part of the ball you lose and the shot is marked as a miss. If the ghost has to kick at the ball to hit it then its a draw the shot is not marked as a miss or a make. Doesent hurt you and should be kept track...

Looks like Fargo rating is king right now problem is you have to play against other rated players and play alot to establish Fargo score. The above is hard if you live in a remote area where you don't have many or any rated players. How about a shot accuracy % or SAP rating system? I think it...

Not a lot of photos out there of Patten cues. And the few you find are pretty fancy. Guess if you start making cues from an old box of szamboti blanks you take your time with each cue hence there are not many Pattens that come up. I can't find my 3rd blue book, does anyone else remember...
