Do pool tables frame need cross beams AND center beams.

Still not sure center beam necessary or not? Still not sure center beam necessary or not? Some of the advice has been helpful and is appreciated. I just don't know how both no center beam and no center beam are among answer. I would think it would be one way or the other. Some good views on...

Do pool tables frame need cross beams AND center beams.

Thanks for sharing. What you shared is one of the logical arguments. Why do any tables put center beams if not necessary?

Do pool tables frame need cross beams AND center beams.

I would tend to agree, I'm looking at a used table 9' for cheap (under $600) by Atlantic Billiards Corporation. I just not sure what I think of no center beam. It played pretty nice, should I go for it not??

Do pool tables frame need cross beams AND center beams.

Do pool tables (3 piece slate) need cross beams ONLY or should a pool table frame have a center beam for support of the slate. Thanks, Jim "preacherman"

Used or New pool table on a limited budget?

God uses people in our lives, yes even in getting a pool table! When I need spiritual guidance I go to God through the guidance found in the Bible.

Used or New pool table on a limited budget?

I'm on the hunt for a 9 foot pool table Atlanta area. Budget $3,000 (including set up & Simonis cloth). If I go with a USED pool table, how do I know the value? If I go NEW what can get with my budget? Thanks, Jim "preacherman"

Karl Boyes should he have been called for a foul!

It may just be a coincidence. But it sure is a weird coincidence.

Karl Boyes should he have been called for a foul!

I agree with the match being a thriller. Winner breaks - I'm not sure my thought on that. My only problem with it is that it may not give a good player a chance to show his skills or have a chance to get into the game.

Karl Boyes should he have been called for a foul!

I'm happy for Karl Boyes and it was an awesome comeback and I don't think it had any affect on the path of the ball (that's not my issue). But it just seems pool lets a lot of things slide. And the gentleman that Ralf Souquet is in character he didn't say a thing. But the referee should of...

Karl Boyes should he have been called for a foul!

Just watched Quarter-Finals of Karl Boyes 8 – 7 Ralf Souquet. What a comeback from Karl Boyes! Fun to watch, but in one game towards the latter part of the match Karl had an obvious scratch as the cue ball was going down the rail toward the corner pocket. In Karl's frustration he hit the table...

What are the best "videos" on pool (intermediate - advanced)

Accu-Stats is great - My question is asked not because of a shortage of dvd's on pool, but an over abundance. Which is the best specifically.

Eye movement question? Cue or Object last?

I have heard both ways but basically the pattern I follow is: Question 1: Eye movement start with cue to object to to cue to object to object back to cue and finally with object on stroke? Question 2: Why in golf (though different sport) once they get ready to swing/putt they never look away at...

Why do only women use chin on cue stick method?

Besides the size of a woman player (usually smaller than a man). Why don’t men(especially shorter ones) use the chin on the cue method?

Need helpful ideas in packing slate for move

I dread the thought of it, but I may have to move my 9' pool table (unless it sells first) from PA to NC in our relocation of our home and ministry to Charlotte, NC. What is the best way to transport safely my 3 pieces of slate in the moving truck I'll be renting. Any input is appreciated.
