Man, after reading this... kida sends a chill... beware of scums pretending to be dealers or whatever... victims here are the cue buying public and worse, the cuemaker (in this case Linds) who tires to protect his name and investment... and things get messed up by crooks... Hopefully this could...

I plan to venture into classical guitar making sometime in the future... I've already done my homework on that part. Just don't have the time to dwell on it yet. One of my passions is playing classical guitar... cool to know there are also a few CM involved in some other stuff HadjCUes

    Phillipino Cues on Ebay

If you want a high quality product, it will come with a fair price and from a reputable cuemaker. Buying from ebay from a "so and so" called cuemaker/seller who doesn't sign their name on their cues is dubious enough... HadjCues

To super glue or not super glue???

Why the hurry in the first place? If you're dead set on CA finish, start first with an epoxy as primer so you don't have to build up too many coats of CA.. paper towels must be flooding in your shop... then you sand down the epoxy and do your cyano thing... important to observe proper drying...

    cutting 3/8-10 shaft threads

Have you tried using a tap? Problems you'll encounter is proper centering and making sure the tap doesn't wander in the hole and don't tap straight... second is getting the threads cut clean... but before that the hole should be drilled straight and true... if you get this done it would be a...

    adding a wrap

Hold the cue between centers and check if there's a wobble, off centered or warpage. If everythings running true, run the edge of the cutter along the wrap aarea barely touching the piece. Now slowly offset your tailstock to the proper angle of the butt taper. You can check this by running the...

    Cue performance.

Practice your stroke on hard shots... the rubber you saw on a handle is for the grip not to slip, but doesn't aid in the straightening of a stroke.

Yeah it's easier to center the tip compared to a way oversized ferrule.

    "Blending" a Ferrule....hummm

What I mean is, I don't blend in the ferrule before I put the tip on... saves time for me... so I could have the ferrule and tip flush to the shaft in just one procedure... so I leave the ferrule a few thousandths oversize, install the tip before finalizing and blending everything .

    "Blending" a Ferrule....hummm

As in previous replies, the shaft has to be true as possible to start with.... I suggest cutting it down to a few thousandths, put on the tip then carefully sand and try to stay away from overheating the ferrule which will cause the glue to soften up.

    Brush on finish???

If you don't have a spray booth, you could still use a spray gun... just cover up anything that needs to be covered, try putting a canopy like thing over your lathe to minimize dust particles in getting to your finish... hvlp gun and a good quality auto clear... this ain't the ultimate setup but...

    Fillipino cues and cuemakers

I agree... so are cues made from other places... way back, I aso thought of selling my cues on ebay but learned about the bad rep associated with PI Qs being sold there... not to generalize but that's how things are... as a cuemaker from the PI's, that's prolly the biggest obstacle one has to...
