This a great price folks. I got to play with a Gilbert J/B fitted as a playing cue, and it was a beast. Great feedback, efficient delivery, and stock shafts drew the rock almost as good as my OB-1. Is this a 3/8x10 joint?

I always wonder how these kind of cues make it all over the world. Judd cues are incredible, if you haven't tried one yet. Very lively hit, in my experience. What kind of joint is it? 3/8x10 or 5/16x14 with a metal insert in the shaft?

Why would you suggest one way to a prospective client? It's my understanding a short, uncapped ferrule has much less deflective properties, as the ferrule material is much more dense/heavier than shaft wood. Thank you!

I have found that SS joints and/or metal inserts in shafts are the most "noisy" in the cue family. Especially with hard tips too. Try a Tad Kohara...woah. Any seasoned pool player can hear those suckers across the room. Now that's a sweet tune.
