    The Wedge Rack

Wow, this is the coolest thing I've seen in the pool world for a long while.... I don't really know why I think it's so cool. Man, we need more pool gizmos. Serious.

What ever happened to Fong-Pang Chao?

2001 International Challenge of Champions I remember vividly watching this in college, even before I knew about Efren. The intensity and execution this guy delivered was something I really wanted in my game, even when I didn't know how to pocket a ball. The man is a machine.... Now, years...

Gilbert six point ebony, for sale again. $600

This a great price folks. I got to play with a Gilbert J/B fitted as a playing cue, and it was a beast. Great feedback, efficient delivery, and stock shafts drew the rock almost as good as my OB-1. Is this a 3/8x10 joint?

    Judd Fuller

I always wonder how these kind of cues make it all over the world. Judd cues are incredible, if you haven't tried one yet. Very lively hit, in my experience. What kind of joint is it? 3/8x10 or 5/16x14 with a metal insert in the shaft?

    Cuemakers: Capped or Uncapped?

    Umm...is this a joke?

    Cuemakers: Capped or Uncapped?

Why would you suggest one way to a prospective client? It's my understanding a short, uncapped ferrule has much less deflective properties, as the ferrule material is much more dense/heavier than shaft wood. Thank you!

Can someone tell me a little about these type of points please.

Sounds like you might roundy up some business with that statement! That's great to hear.

    Varney LD shaft??

Amen this this ^ Mr. Varney, can I ask, what's modified in these shafts that make them low deflection? Short, uncapped ferrules? Are they hollowed?

    CNC points? Your thought

Rounded points? Two words: Super gross. Just my 2 cents.

Can someone tell me a little about these type of points please.

I really like the looks of Pic #1, as the points come down, meeting at a sharp point. Unlike Pic #2, the more traditional splice at the handle section, I'm looking at a 5 or 6 point "sneaky," or wrapless built around the first picture. It might just be an optical illusion, but it seems like...

    Schon BEM STL-1: FS/FT, not 56k friendly.

No where near Toronto, friend. But thank you. Could you please post pics and joint info.? Thank you!

For sale: Muecci star of david (ivory edition)

On my other active forums, there's a minimum 20 post or 3 month (which ever comes first) prerequisite before being able to access or post on the classified forums--to better clairifiy the needs and responsibilites of an appropriate sale. Just sayin....

    Cue Sounds......

I have found that SS joints and/or metal inserts in shafts are the most "noisy" in the cue family. Especially with hard tips too. Try a Tad Kohara...woah. Any seasoned pool player can hear those suckers across the room. Now that's a sweet tune.

    OB-1 Vs 314

I think this question comes up about once a week. I'd recommend doing a search, but really the mods should sticky a thread listing the comparisons. Simply put, though my experience: An OB-1 has a softer, whippier hit than the 314. The OB-1 seems to apply more english, over the 314, in regards...

    Best cue combo?

RB25 or 26? NA or TT?...lol I just read your member name. A couple 240's and an FC3S later, I'm out of that game.... Drifting is expensive.

    Best cue combo?

GL on your adventure for a new cue! I've always thought, at least for those of us on limited budgets, that an investment in a new stick is a sort of milestone in our experience of the sport--even if you have been playing long. Plus, the sense of pride and excitement is always nice. Since you...

    Edwin "Bandido" Reyes Lives On

OMFG!! seriously...wtf is going on. I never knew this man, but have heard about his work from many of my Filipino friends. The man is a legend, but.... How do we know, or what suggests that this was an assassination? What does the low-end, broken cue in the box mean? The man has contributed...
