Just talked to Pat D & he said its honey cooked curly maple kielwood. Pretty cool!

I got a tad bem in early 80s at his shop. There was no markings but Tad always made the shaft 1/2 " longer.

Hey Rodger. I have one of the bamacues aka joe lilley really nice butt they had made a few years back. I just need an inexpensive shaft as it's not money wise investing in a higher end shaft. A used joss or falcon shaft would do fine or a cheap used ob or similar aftermarket.
