Please feel free to email to me if the manual is not clear enough. As for marking the shaft, you can do it with blue tack. You can see that my house cue is marked in a similar manner in the youtube (or you can have a temporary paper tag). There is of course another way, but it isn't precision...

Precision Potting manual - Free of Charge

The free manual will be given till end of the year. Thereafter, I will either improve the version or I just keep the current version in my hard drive. If you are not good in playing sidespin, this manual will give you an idea of how and why the cue ball moves as it does, when spin is introduced.

Precision Potting manual - Free of Charge

In the first place, I have not thought of the link possibility. Someone mentioned it earlier and I gave some thought to it. However, I realized that I do not have any control such as: 1. How many people have requested and obtained the manual? If the number is low, maybe I should promote it...

Well, George Fels's 101 Tips is not your work. Precision Potting is my work, hence I would still like to have a little control, and also hopefully some of the readers would communicate with me with regard to Precision Potting.

I wonder if Azbilliards private messaging can attach pdf documents. I believe there isn't but I could be wrong. If it is possible, then you can pm me here, and I attach the manual for you. That way, you need not reveal your email address to me, if that is a big deal to you.

Poll: Who have tested that their cue is pointing at the right place.

How about trying the same with shooting over a ball. After shooting over a ball, moves the obstacle ball away and see if the cue ball goes between the two marker balls. I am sure you percentage will go even lower. The reason are several and one of them is that it isn't easy to get your cue to...

This rejected shot should count IMO, what say you?

Imagine a similar situation where your opponent shot and the pocket spits the ball out. Lets say you decided that it is pocketed (kind hearted soul) and you tell your opponent that it is pocketed and you take the spitted out ball and put it in the pocket since there is no referee. Your opponent...

Poll: Who have tested that their cue is pointing at the right place.

What I meant is to pay as parallel as possible by hitting the top of the cue ball. However, due to the uncomfortable position (in the case of the rail) of the bridge, I am unable to aim properly. I do not believe my aim is consistent. As for the case when I have to bridge over another ball...

Yes, indeed it is similar. I was made aware of this Colin Colenso video after I finish making my manual in Sep last year. After reading some his material and viewing his video, I came to the conclusion that while the concept is similar (since physics cannot change), the treatment to the...

Poll: Who have tested that their cue is pointing at the right place.

I am also curious as to how our aim is when the cue ball is on the rail and also when we have to shoot over another ball. For me, my accuracy (at least when potting long shots) drops dramatically. I believe my cue is not aimed correctly although I thought it is.

For those who have received the manual, I would like to add two more points to make Precision Potting more precise. This is through my experience the last few months. 1. Instead of just 1/4, 1/2 and 3/4 cue and full cue calibration, do at least one more for 1/8 cue. In other words, you...

Precision Potting manual - Free of Charge

Many who tested Precision Potting with LD shaft told me that the bridge length is to long and is not easy to wield, hence my assertion that it isn't appropriate for LD shaft. It is also not that appropriate for snooker as well as the table has nap of the cloth.

Poll: Who have tested that their cue is pointing at the right place.

Hi Dan, Totally agreed with what you said about being a good player needs to have good fundamentals. That is probably the differentiating factor between a good professional to one that wins tournaments. I believe aiming at where you intend the cue ball to be at is one of the most basic...

Precision Potting manual - Free of Charge

My apologies. What I meant is that anyone with 20+ hours of pool table time will be able to execute Precision Shooting/Potting easily. Newbies with less than 5 hours of pool time and who doesn't have anyone to teach them the basic, will not be able to execute the strokes required ie. BHE, with...
