Sounds like you're thinking of the USPPA. However, that system is maintained through their "office" by submitting scoresheets. You can contact Tony Annigoni at 1-800-471-1164. Their website is http://usppa.com Troy

VERY IMPORTANT NEWS - Red Circle OR Blue Circle ???

Per the BCA "Equipment" section of the "Rules" -- Pocket Billiard Balls Weight: 5 1/2 to 6 oz. Diameter: 2 1/4" (+/-.005"). To me, that certainly appears to be a "standard", however loose as it may be. Troy

    New Shaft Technology

Composite graphite shafts have been around for a few years. The feel similar to Cuetec's fiberglass/fiberglass coated shafts, that is, they feel "sticky". Troy

    Question about ferrules

I don't think you have a ferrule problem. A harder tip may help - such as a non-layered Water Buffalo or a phenolic tip. Troy

Searching: Rubber place matt to tapp ball's

I don't understand the problem or how such a devise would be used. You want to put a rubber pad OVER the balls and then tap them ??? Certainly not UNDER the balls. I suggest you learn how to properly rack and simply follow the WPA Rules (http://www.wpa-pool.com/rules1.htm) which clearly state ...

Yes, the Great Entertainer lost their lease. Actually, it wasn't renewed. Also, the cost of insurance became exorbitant. Last week they had an "auction" of most equipment. Troy

I don't know about "chalk shaping the tip", but over time a tip will take its own shape depending on the style of the player,. Troy

Can chalking damage your cue ...

I just love the Ultimate Tip Tool --- They bring me lots of repair work ... :) 1) mis-use can cause damage to the ferrule, and 2) the burnisher part is at too much of an angle. I use a piece of leather and spin the shaft using a lathe. Troy
