Cue case Latch

I have an Elite Action 2/2 cue case. The cheap latch broke. It still locks but the spring mechanism does not work. It seemed like a neat idea till it broke. Does anyone know who, where, or how this latch can be fixed? I would like to replace it with an Instroke Diamond latch if possible. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
 
My question is why do you want to replace it with a Instroke latch? All I ever read is how bad the Instroke latch is. You bought a Elite and want to alter it????? Sounds fishy to me. I am not here to bash any cases. I have a Instroke and love the case. Get a lot of comments on it. It is the best case I have. I also have a leather Porper and 2 leather Georges. I use them to store my non playing cues. They are not as player friendly nor would I trust them as much in the oustide environment. I wish that they were all Instroke. Why did you buy an Elite case instead of a Instroke. Cut your loses and get a Instroke to protect your cue. It take more than a latch to do the job. Even if my latch were to break I could still use the case because of the positive grip between the case and lid.
 
The Instroke Diamond Latch is only available for Instroke cases. The Action Elite can be repaired at www.cuecaserepair.com with a very good, non-spring-loaded, latch.

Thank you for the feed back, Onepocket. That is a great site. I am planning on selling the case, but I dont want to sell it broken. Speaking of onepocket, I just started to enjoy playing the game. It took me over a year just to like the game and understand it. Dan Levoy gives me a 15-5 spot and makes me look like the puppy I am. But I get the best seat in the house. lol

I was thinking of buying an Instroke Premium case. Does that come with the new diamond latch. If not, which I suspect is the case, can it be put on it when the original fails.

Hay 314 i have a good case i just got, pm me and i'll tell .Also how the cue ? got in Stroke ? just got another Gilbert .. U got my number call me if you like .I see u made it thru .the storms.. :p

I still have the Predator and it still hits Good. I bought a Schon STL8 on ebay for $366. This cue looks like it is brand new. It is beautiful and a steal. The hit is much different than the Predator. I also bought a Predator shaft for the Schon. Hit a few balls with it, but I need a tip for it. So I have been playing with the schon shaft, obviously, and I think I like that better. I will know for sure until i get tips for all 3 Predator shafts. I called you and left my number.

Oh-Oh...sounds like a new AZ name is in the offing. Don't worry, the loss of identity will be quickly replaced by improved play. ;)

I was thinking the same thing. I will change it to Danny STL8. Then again, I am a bit too lazy. I guess that will make me a poser. I use my old Predaor sneaky pete to break. Does count for anything? :D
