    Fargorate and "Bar Bangers"

I'm around a 535 Fargo and based on how I've self assessed over the years I'd say Dr Dave's chart is pretty accurate at least for me. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

    Mosconi Story 1952

Really enjoyed that. You can definitely see Willie use the slip stroke on a couple of occasions there. A fascinating piece of history and an insight into a different era where pool was written about on the sports pages of mainstream newspapers. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

    All Japan Championship Starts Today!

I am thankful for leftovers and Japanese 10 ball tournament streams on Thanksgiving night because I have a pool addiction. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

    Fargorate and "Bar Bangers"

I feel like I've seen some things like this making comparisons between Fargo and other rating systems, but since I can't remember where or what exactly it said I can't speak to it's accuracy or subject or objectivity. Maybe Dr. Dave can have some input on this. I know I've seen rating systems...

All Japan Championship (10/9 Ball) *November 21-25*

I am thankful for streams on Japanese 10 ball tournaments on Thanksgiving night when you're a pool addict and have no interest in Saints Falcons. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

The Lion Alex Pagulayan vs T-Rex Tony Chohan HUGE Action Match Nov. 15-18th

From following Buffalo on Facebook I believe there is a standing challenge to anyone that if they can beat him at pop a shot they get a free bucket of beer. I don't think Buffalo has had to payoff yet. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

Brand New Pool Table Projection System.

A projector for drills and layouts is a cool idea, but it's really only going to have benefit once it's small enough to be portable/usable with a smart phone.

    9 ball / 10 ball middle ground

If we're talking about compromise rules I really like 10 ball with 9 ball rules like they play in the Bigfoot Challenge at the Derby. This was the way 10 ball was played back in the Camel Tour days before the WPA decided they needed to make it a call shot game to differentiate it from 9 ball...

    The International 9-Ball Open

9 on the spot, template, referee rack, 3 point rule, break from the box 9" from either side of the head spot, winner break Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

    The International 9-Ball Open

After watching this tournament I think I'm finally sold. These racking and breaking rules are the best for pro 9 ball. The players must hit the break hard, there is no guaranteed ball on the break without a skillful shot, the cueball movement and patterns are more random, and with referee rack...

2018 US International Open - Observations

I get it. I'm not sure that's what most of us wanted to see though. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

2018 US International Open - Observations

Does anyone have any insight as to why certain matches are chosen or not for the stream. SVB and Orcollo battling right now off camera. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

    International 9 Ball

The ones I have looked at so far have been complaining about the commentary and this one that has a link to the bracket which would be awesome if it worked well on mobile, the only option open to me, but it doesnt. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

Coin-op Diamonds at US Intl. Open...

I imagine it's the same setup as the Derby. After a certain time the tables are put on timers based on tokens which allow 30 minutes of play at time before you have to put more in.

    Breaking from the head string

I think it's easier to get a more accurate hit on the head ball when you have your hand on the table. Especially the case on 9ft tables.

how are ya'll doing in league ?

I wasn't aware it was even legal under the rules for men to be 2s. I don't think I've ever seen one in all the nights I've played APA here in Indy. I'm not sure I've even ran into a male 3 except for maybe once that I can think of. Everything is relative of course with APA handicaps depending...

how are ya'll doing in league ?

I've been on a really good run in our VNEA/BCA co-sanctioned 8 ball league. In the last 3 weeks I've only lost 1 game and that was the last game last night. I was in a tough spot and tried to play a safe and got a bad roll. The person I was playing had a really tough cut at the 8 all the way...

    Mid West Bar Table

This was a really great tournament this time. There were legitimate world beaters that came here to Indy for a chance at the cash. I went several days and I saw a lot of great pool. Between the main event, the 1 pocket matches, and the ten ball you really got to see these top players show...

    Shane from 2000-2007/2008

A few years ago at the DCC maybe 2009ish right after they moved to the current venue I walked into one if the upstairs rooms and saw a bunch of people crowded around. When I got closer I saw it was SVB gambling with Scooter and the game was pretty outrageous. Please forgive me if I'm getting...
