Anyone else struggle getting used to 12.4 revo?

I wouldn't say butts are irrelevant. I honestly can't compare the differences between the cues with their wooden shafts then using the cues with cf shafts. Since covid I pretty much sold most of my stuff and bought 10 new cues and have cf for them all. I haven't hit any of the new cues with...

Anyone else struggle getting used to 12.4 revo?

I too went from a regular 13mm shaft to a Revo 12.4 mm. Adjustment period took about 1 week. Switched to 11.8mm when it came out. Shafts are unbelievable how good they are. People complain about the sound the cf shaftales when hitting the ball but I could care less when I'm seeing the ball...

    Coos Cue Completed

Beautiful cue and like the combo. So many woods I still have yet to see apparently.

    Newbie question

Having played with a Revo the last 5 years I'd recommend it to anyone. If you want something that will last and you want to learn and get better without spending money a whole bunch of times get the Revo. Wish it was an option for me when I started to get interested 30+ years ago.

    Trying a new tip

I'm one of what seems like a very few that absolutely love the predator victory soft tip.

Could someone recommend a break cue + jump cue or jump break cue from this selection on Seyberts?

BK Rush is absolutely amazing for breaking. It's your max budget but well worth it. I got it because I have a very bad back and lost most of my power in my break, but the energy transfer is the nuts on this breaker. After that, save some funds and wait for the Rush Air to come out for a...

Anyone Else Notice Seyberts Drastic Cue Price Increases?

I only see there Meucci's went up but that's because all Meucci's went up due to wood prices. Since all Meucci's went up, Seyberts had to up there prices too as they can only sell 15% lower than MSRP like all their dealers. I haven't really seen other cues go up.

suppose you had $5K to spend on pool...

I'd like to say I'd save it and buy a diamond when/if I could ever for a table where I live, but I have major saving issues. So I'd say it would probably go to 1 huge cue.

    eBay Rant

This is the exact reason why you are having the issues at hand. Ebay shouldn't let the sellers back out though like the OP stated. When I've sold and came across the issue of not setting a reserve because of the crazy price it is to set a reserve, I've either started the bidding at my lowest...

    Value of ivory in cues?

I've always been a huge fan of ivory in cues. Because of the law changes I haven't really pushed the use of ivory in any of the cues I've ordered or bought since the law chances. I still have a few cues with ivory in them. As most others have stated, the value that ivory always had should...

    Mezz Cue shipment

We were thinking about that but it's a complex of townhouses we rent from. So we share a porch with the neighbor and there really isn't room for a large lock box. Also, not to sure we would be allowed to put holes in the concrete to secure the lock box to the ground.

    Mezz Cue shipment

When you pay for extra shipping it usually requires signature confirmation. If you pay for any insurance and the item is valued and insured over $500 it automatically becomes signature required. All these benefit you the buyer, IMO. Since covid though, signature required turned into a...

    Looking a new cue maybe

I had a jacoby black and thought it was whippy like the old Meucci shafts from the 90's. Has tons of deflection as well. I've tried 15 different cf shafts and keep going back to the Revo. Have 2 11.8mm Revo's now in different pin sizes. That's what I'd recommend over and over

    New Cue/Shaft recommendation

I think the predator is a great decision. I've tried about 15 different cf shafts and to me the Revo is still the best. I carry a 12.4 & 11.8 Revo with me at all times.

    New Cue/Shaft recommendation

Tough decision for sure. If you're coming to the states for a couple of days or weeks, you can buy while here for a cheaper price. I'm sure there maybe even be predator at the events.

    Custom Cue Design Preferences

I have some sick cues with highly figured waterfall Bubinga, BEM, cocobolo, Madagascar ebony, buckeye burl, hickory burl & holly. My favorite exotic wood is Brazilian rosewood, but also love tulipwood and many others. I like all the different inlays and flair. Not going to lie, I really enjoy...

    Let's talk chalk

I've never been a fan of master chalk. So messy and don't really like to chalk after every shot. I tried predator but it was super messy as well. Due to mutual respect with Chris Renfro I tried his chalk and fell in love with it. Great white is an amazing chalk and even though it's around...

    Custom Cue Design Preferences

I like many designs. When the wood is super highly figured, I like it with no inlays and without points in most cases. I also love cues with other exotic woods with points, vaneers and inlays. If money was no issue, I'd surely have a couple super fancy Black Boars & Zen Cues. I'd also have...

    Predator revo radial owners

Both play phenomenal. Just depends which size feels more comfortable to you. IMO of course.
