i play tarrant APA as well, and the LO is always present at any higher level tournament and as stated will not tolerate shenanigans. Mike

would also be curious to know if the player who assaulted you will be elegible for any replay of your match. an APA suspension should be immediate so therefore the player would be inelegible for the rematch. Mike

willie, you only need 10 matches to be elegible for higher level tournaments, so you should have time. might have to join 2 teams on different nights to be sure though. Mike

i think you would need to be a member and also have 10 matches in so that your handicap is established. the minis are run by skill level. Mike

Sounds to me like the captain was WAY out of line, there was nothing helpful or constructive in his response. Question for the OP, is there a rule in your league for election of the team captain? Any other team member willing to assume the position? APA allows for an election of a new team...
