    Identify this cue please

It is the lowest price Cue that the Guy in Vegas used to sell on E-bay. It had a starting bid of $59.00 a couple of years ago when I stopped selling them. The higher end Palmers he was selling were discontinued Fury cues. I have seen a lot of racks ran with one of those cues. Some one new or he...

The wrap on my Cue is smooth as can be. I assume it is Cortland. But Tate would know for sure.

    Convert, Modify, or Refinish-Brazilian Titlist

The first cue I owned was just like that one. I paid $10.00 for it used. Played with it about a year and sold it for $8.00.

    OB Chalk

I shoot a lot of draw shots. Just can't get the speed down. So I don't like to use running English when I don't have to use it. I get way down low on the cue ball when needed. Masters chalk. Works great. Very dirty. Filthy. Silver cup. Miscue a lot. Balabushka chalk. Very clean but miscue...

BEST Performing HARD TIP- NON- Layered ????

The best single layer tip I have found is a Water Buffalo Pro from Cue Components. It is harder than a Triangle and lasts a long time and holds chalk well. I shoot some pretty wild around the world power draw shots kind of like Earl Strickland and this tip has never failed me. I can get way down...

How do I break in a everest tip?

You might find this interesting. This is what I do to mine. Then after about a month when the tip starts glazing I cut it off and install a good tip. http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=meucci+videos&qpvt=meucci+videos&view=detail&mid=3AFAF6BA773DECDEFA733AFAF6BA773DECDEFA73&FORM=VRDGAR

How can u tell if a cue tip needs to be replaced on a vintage/classic cue?

I have Cues with tips on them a lot older than that. If you wiggle the tip with your finger nail on the sides and it does try to lift like the glue is not holding any more on one side or the leather doesn't give, the tip should be okay.

The cue you WONT let go...

Thanks. It plays great with the original shafts and my OB Classic shaft.

The cue you WONT let go...

I drooled over this cue on Chris Tate's website for two years and then on Proficient Billiards auction site. It was listed with a reserve for about one and a half years and never reached the reserve. Then I saw it listed with no reserve and I got lucky and won it. I will have to be on my death...

    Good shaft sealer

Birchwood Casey Gun Stock Wax, is all I have used for years on all of my shafts. Carnuba, Bees Wax and Silicon. Cleans, Seals and Polishes all at the same time. My shafts stay clean. Chalk dust does not penetrate my shafts. I have solid and laminated shafts. I have an OB Classic shaft that...

    Great players from my youth

Wimpy. Jersey Red, Cannonball, Greg Stevens. Used to watch them play at the Le Cue and TJ Parkers in Houston, Texas. Used to watch Keith Thompson, I think ya'll called him Little Squirrel. I just called him Squirrel. I remember when he was young and Jesse Howard carried him around to the bars...

How to make a leather wrap sticky

My cue has an embossed leather wrap. I keep the wrap polished with Kiwi shoe wax. It makes it a little sticky, I guess. You are not going to use a slip stroke with it.

    Selling Cues on Ebay

I love Buy Now. I wanted a nice Tiger Stripe stock for my Thompson Center Hawken rifle. I watched nice stocks go for $350.00 and up for years. One day I went to Ebay and some guy listed a beautiful stock for $175.00. I don't think it was listed for 15 minutes before I snapped it up.
