Anyone Have Success Using a Wrist Brace?

I went through that problem (defined as motorcycle delivery), about 20 years ago & ended up modifying a bowling glove Brace. The solution was to get the feeling of control on the contained wrist, but not to freeze the whole forearm/ wrist, so it could do its job. I ended with a flat back...

Maybe this is the break that pool needs. Cornhole cheating...

Maybe pool needs an arena like Cornhole ha , to spark enthusiasm. The stands at Derby City, as I remember, are better than nothing, but a smaller arena, for say a hundred spectators, would be better. NOTE; I haven't been to a Tournament in several years. OR maybe 3 arena's would allow more to...

Why are some players using cue extensions for shots they don’t need to reach?

Yes, that's why I use a 4 inch extension on my Cue. It actually puts my elbow in a better location & gives me a better feeling stroke.

Are bar tables hurting the game

I don't think so. People get better & then move to a bigger venue. Some folks don't have a Family Room that is 35 x 45 with an 8 foot Custom Table & an Antique Snooker Table in one end. I once noticed that people who couldn't bowl very good, soon graduated to not going to the Bowling Alley, then...

    Rankings of Custom Cue Makers

We'll I don't see Guido Orlandi up there, but I'm betting not many know of his Cue Making expertise and/or his Conical Joint, which in itself can change any cue's hit. But Guido isn't a proud or egotistical man & couldn't care about a title. He is a Christian man, who is enjoying life & enjoys...

    Thumb Straight Down

There shouldn't be any cock of the wrist, if your grip is correct. Both my Forefinger & Thumb are pointed down, my Middle Finger cradles the Cue, my Ring Finger & Little Finger do not touch the cue. The back of my wrist is flat & remains flat & still, throughout the stroke.

The sound shockwave from a cue hit

I have a cue machine & sound chamber, that we use to select shaftwood. I have recorded many a sound of shaft, while tryin to select the best, before having to machine them all. A famous Luthier gave us the info for selecting good woods, before exhausting resources, checking them all, only to...

    Your best playing production cue

I had a Pechauer Cue with a Dominator Radial ply laminated shaft... Won a Lot of tournaments with that Cue. And it was very beautiful... lots of inlays, but not too many. The very first person bought it...... I was given a Cue by Guido Orlandi, that Plays like a Magic Wand, so the Pechauer is...

What are the newest/most current training aids?

I like the Rempe ball. I don't care for the red/white contrast. But, this ball is probably a good design as well.
