    crowned slate

How thick are the slates? Did you level the frame first? How many shims did you use to level the center slate. Tightening the screws with a pile of shims between the frame and the slate can crown it real bad. Hard to say just looking at your pics Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant AzBilliards...

    Rail nuts spinning inside

If it's a captured nut this is what i do: cut the cloth, pull the rubber up just enough to see the nut in the cavity. Insert a hacksaw metal blade under the plate and spin the bolt. It'll cut itself on the blade and you can remove the nutplate without more drilling/cursing Envoyé de mon iPhone...

light fixture bottom to table height?

30" min from the slate. My advice to my customers is to measure from the ceiling to your eyes. That's what you need from the canopy to the bottom of the shade. Assemble on the floor so you don't have to work with the chain links above the table Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant AzBilliards Forums

    Fitting a 9ft and a 7ft table in a room

Back to Brags question: 4.5+3.5+(3x5) will get you just a little tight. A 9 footer will be between 60" and 64" wide depending on the rails width (50" + twice 5"to 7") same goes for the 7 footer.. Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant AzBilliards Forums
