Aside from the missing piece of side skirt, can you spot the problem with this Gold Crown currently running on Ebay for only $4,999?

Too many books for a Pool Player to have.
Although, they all could be his wife's books.

He doesn't need that ladder since he can climb on the pool table and wheel it in front of every shelf

unbelievable run

Years ago my good friend and tremendous straight pool player ( runner
up U S open) Dick Lane worked for a short time at Billiard and Bar Stools,
the largest pool table retailer in the Dallas area. They had tables and
and all kinds of game room stuff set up through out the large showroom.
They had a table displayed just like the picture in this post. The store
was close to my house in Plano and I would drop by quite often to shoot
the bull with Dick. The table was close to the front of the store with game
room chairs and stuff and that's where Dick seemed to always be, hitting
balls on that table. one day he set up a break shot and ran a hundred
and twenty eight on that table that you couldn't play on one end.
Incredible, what a straight pool player he was.

Hey Jack, do you ever see DL anymore? He was in Tulsa about 8-9yrs ago and played some while here. I've heard he's gotten into studying theology and rarely, if ever, hits 'em anymore. Dick is a unique character, a nice guy and a straight pool wizard. I know the guys at Volcano's would love to have him make one of their 14.1 league events.

Loved

I loved watching Dick Lane in the late 90's at the US Open, he had some nerve problem in his arm but that did not stop him from hitting them straight.
