I had a Capone before my Lambros. The Lambros hit is outstanding. I have hit with both the new and old ultra joints. The shaft taper is stiff and the hit is firm. I would say that if you wanted a change to something different a Lambros with the new ultra joint is the way to go.

Good luck finding a Lambros. In my opinion they are worth the search. His new Ultra joint is fantastic. I also liked the old ultra joint. The hit is solid and firm with a unique resonance. I highly recommend Mike's cues.

Cork Wraps Cork wraps are great. The natural cork is my favorite. Tim Padgett did my cork wrap. Guido Orlandy does an outstanding job with cork wraps. He is one of the cue repairs guys at the Vegas BCA tournament. Natural cork is really fragile.
