    my two headed monster,.,.,.,.

Design theft is definitely not an easy topic. More and more people are ignoring intellectual property rights and blatantly stealing from others. Unfortunately, in circumstances like the pool cue market where there isn't that much money for any one maker it's not worth it to take the issues to...

Awesome interpretation of the CoM Balabushka! It looks 1000x's better with sharp inlays and points.

    This just in!

One more thing, I was fortunate enough to be able to get in on a cue that someone else bailed on so I'll just leave a teaser here:

    This just in!

I've been wanting a veneered full-splice cue for quite a bit now and I just picked up my first. I usually play with a 60" cue and this one's only 59" but I'm super excited to put it through its paces tomorrow night after work! Edit: I forgot to mention that I was blown away by the quality of...

Great looking veneers! I love bridged veneers and have a similar veneer scheme in the works as well:

Dr. Kenny D's 2010 Searing, video plus short story/history of cue

Well, my assumption is that no matter how tight the tolerances, there will always be a degree of magnification that will show where the veneers were joined. That said, once we're past the point of needing magnification, which we are for some I would imagine, the point is moot!

Dr. Kenny D's 2010 Searing, video plus short story/history of cue

I think the disconnect here is that you don't know that Searing's veneers are one piece and thus don't have a join line anywhere. Comparing this method against any joined veneer it will always come out on top. That's not to say that there aren't amazing examples of joined veneers but one piece...
