    Rolex daytona

Corey, which watch do you have? I've a couple of Omega GMT's, both Seamaster 300M, one a Great White and the other the 50th Anniversary. They both get plenty of wrist time.

Good place but maybe not the best Rolex forum. In any event, Dean, just to clarify, the Rolex forum I was referring to is this one: http://rolexforums.com

Will instructors give advice (on fundamentals) if you post a video of your shooting?

Post a video in the "ask an instructor" area and you will very likely get a lot of good feedback from the experts...and plenty of advice from league bangers as well. :grin-square:

    Rolex daytona

If it doesn't have a serial number then either it's not a Rolex or it's been filed off - in which case run, don't walk. Either between the lugs on the six o'clock side or on the rehaut (again at "6") of the newer ones. But every Rolex has a serial number. Many AD's don't even know the...

    Rolex daytona

Assuming it's real, without knowing the condition inside and out, not really. And is it SS, TT, or PM? Do you have a serial number that can help identify approximately how old it is (don't actually post the number)? Does the watch come with box and papers? Your best bet is to go to Rolex Forums...

    14.1 on 4" pockets.

IMHO 4" is too tight to play straight pool properly. YMMV, but I doubt it.

Cue Ball Frozen to Object Ball - What are the Options

Glad it helped. Essentially, when the balls are touching you could say they behave like a single ball, so the cue ball chases after the object ball without being hit a 2nd time. Now, if there is even the slightest gap between the balls and the cue ball goes following after the OB, you can be...

Cue Ball Frozen to Object Ball - What are the Options

Typically there is no double hit if you shoot normally when the balls are frozen. Here's a slo-mo video from Dr. Dave's site to illustrate: http://billiards.colostate.edu/high_speed_videos/new/HSVA-96.htm

    Favorite Pool Movie?

Hah, no. The signature at the bottom of my posts is a line from the end of The Hustler (perhaps you have sigs turned off).

For my choice I'll give you a clue - read my signature. ;)

    New National Tour-who's behind it?

Wonder if Karen Corr is involved.

    The Baltimore Bullet

Good question. Coincidentally, Mike Lambros ran with and knew the real Baltimore Bullet, Buddy Dennis, very well, but I believe the movie was made prior to his entering the cue making art.

What is your opinion on Pro players that pattern rack the balls?

What mjantti said. I just posted on this in another recent thread on this topic. I don't know why they do it, there could be numerous reasons. But it is rampant among professionals. So unless one believes they don't know the rule and they don't have a clue their opponent is doing it, it...

What is your opinion on Pro players that pattern rack the balls?

Unfair advantage? I don't think so, not when both players are doing it. One of the problems with enforcing pattern racking is proving it. You don't have to rack the balls the same way every time. Even if you only know one way, you can rack the opposite pattern every other time and...

CSI PRESENTS: US P[en One Pocket & US Open Straight Pool Championship

I'd imagine going two and out isn't an issue given there will be a round robin stage. They may indeed seed the groups but that won't need to be the primary motive. ;)

A Solution to the 9-Ball Rack: Spot the Balls.

Out of all your suggestions, this right here may be the key to her success, particularly if she doesn't have a mortgage and is willing to put in most of the hours required to operate it, herself. Best of luck. ;)

Post pics of your early script logo Ginacues

If you are referring to the change to the current logo he uses, that occurred when he came out of his 15 year retirement around 1988. Mine has the italic block letters, not the script. The Blue Book of cues says the script was used until 1970 when Ernie went to block lettering, but this is...

Best Cameo in a Billiards Movie?

Can't recall specifically, but he's in it. I believe there is one scene where Fats says "Rack 'em, Willie", and that's Mosconi. And his hands and stroke can definitely be seen in shots made in the film, since he executed some of them. He's listed in the cast (uncredited) on IMDB.

A Solution to the 9-Ball Rack: Spot the Balls.

You lost me early, on the 2nd and 3rd points. Good luck with the random requirement. That's already a rule and no one pays any attention to it. Also don't care for the balls past the head string requirement. The Mosconi Cup got rid of that because too many otherwise good solid breaks were...
