    CSI 10 Ball...... Magic SlugRack?

Yes, and I realize it's flawed at present. I have no problem with the magic rack, but until they improve their tolerances, why continue to use it? I would think the negative publicity from it, is worse than switching off of it.

    CSI 10 Ball...... Magic SlugRack?

Get a Delta rack and rack them the old fashioned way. Prefer them anyhow.

    CSI 10 ball

The problem, all too often in pool, is that the commentators aren't professional and they try to impart their street lingo into their commentary like they're talking to their buddies in the corner of the pool hall and want to sound 'cool'. That, coupled with the players that sit in the booth...

Thoughts on OB 135 Darts Cue

It's a great looking cue, that's for sure. The OB cue I played with the other day at Ozone Billiard's new showroom, was well balanced and gave great feedback. It had an OB2 shaft on it. Of their current line, if I were to purchase an OB cue today, it would be either the OB 135 or the OB 129.

    Help Finding Thread

Thanks. Any idea where that original link is? It's not been moved to the 'stickied' thread about stolen cues and I'd like to find it and bookmark it for future reference.

    Help Finding Thread

Just curious, there was a thread on here recently about some stolen cues (belonging to Brian Parks?) and I believe one of his cues was a Prewitt. Been sort of keeping an eye out for any Prewitt's to come up for sale, since you never know if they're stupid enough to steal it, maybe they'll be...

    Best tip---Hard, Medium, Soft?

This has been debated countless times. It always comes back to 'whatever tip you like best'. Try different tips and see what fits your play style and abilities. For me personally, I've really liked the Tiger Sniper, because it's a little on the harder side of mediums and holds shape well, yet...

Buddy Hall vs Sammy Soto Race100

I think, more than anything, the timing is off. Pool players tend to be more on the arrogant side as a whole so this type of bragging is common. It's just that it's bound to rile some folks up when Buddy is struggling right now. Buddy is one of the more respected and beloved of pro's in the...

Cue recommendation? I've sort of narrowed it down.

I actually took a trip over to the new Ozone Billiards showroom today. It's fantastic! But back to the point. I spent some time playing with a new OB cue with an OB2 shaft on it. I have never cared for the euro taper in the past, preferring instead the 'pro' taper of the classic. I spent...

    Stop recommending Players HXT?

Your repair guy shouldn't have done anything once it broke until he contacted you first. Because he did work that wasn't approved ahead of time, regardless of why the shaft broke, beit faulty or error, fault should lie with him as to replacing the shaft once he did the work without consent.

    Loking for my new player

Well, you were rather direct at putting quite a few folks off with your original post. While some folks like myself might understand that you're just wanting to narrow down your choices from the get go, not everyone will. Remember, this community has a lot of good sellers with nice cues, but...

Cue recommendation? I've sort of narrowed it down.

I have a friend with one of those jump/break cues. It's a nice cue and he jumps well with it, but it's a very heavy cue. Make sure you like that in a jump cue. Most prefer a lighter jump cue. If you're anywhere near Atlanta (Kennesaw), you can go to Ozone's new showroom and try out jump cues...

Who is making the best Break only cue?

I prefer a light break cue, so i'll go with the Jester G10 even though it's a break/jump simply because I haven't found a better 'light' break cue that compares. I'm just not willing to spend $400 on a cue that was only $250 for the exact same cue last year, or I'd already have one. As for...

    Mild Dud Tip (Pooldawg8)

I am in between tournaments and am not playing in any leagues at present, so I've had some time to experiment with tips and equipment. I've been reading here on the boards about the various tips that folks like to play with. I kept coming back to the milk duds that so many of the pros seem to...
