Truth be told, that's too tight for straight pool. Most One Hole players like tight pockets though.

It's a break cloth. It's essentially just a piece of bed cloth. It prevents burn marks from piling up in the popular break spots.

The table looks much better in the first photo. It's seems much more natural and realistic racked for straight pool. :grin: Another superb restoration by MG. :wink:

I think there is a big difference in the amount of residue, if any, left on the balls after going through a Diamond machine versus what remains on a car when you spray and wipe the entire vehicle in 10 minutes. When the balls go through my machine they are spinning pretty quickly and constantly...

Brillianize is decent. I've tried it. I use Mequiars Ultimate Quik Detailer in my Diamond machine. This and the Aramith cleaner are the ones recommended by Diamond for use in their machine.

I agree 156 -170 is a lot, but that is the official specification according to the WPA. Now Aramith balls at all price points may be less than that. They are simply guaranteed to be within that spec. And their top three balls are almost certainly to tighter spec than the official standard. I...

No. The blue logo ball is made with the Aramith Premium resin, which is a step down from the Super Pro resin, which is a step down from the gtop of the line Duramith Tournaments. As far as weight goes, they are "official weight", That is anything from 156 to 170 grams (5.5 - 6.0 oz.)...
