How many pool table can I fit in 2000 sq ft room

You need to consider seating and tables for the customers too. And the dimensions of the room too (is it perfectly square? A rectangle? Or with odd dimensions? any poles or other obstacles). Also, square footage and room measurements in real estate are often unreliable. I’d measure every thing...

Dominguez vs Guama race to 50 for 80+ per side

The unanswered question (as far as I can see) is what Guama and his team knew about Oscar tightening the bolts. Oscar said he did it openly. If Guama or his team saw Oscar doing this, then to me they could either demand the bolts be loosened or call off the match. I don’t think they can play...

Introducing the new Bitman rack 😳

The Kamui Roku is $30 a piece. The Taom V10 and Predator Pur is about $20 a piece, as is the Pagulayan chalk I use. I haven’t used the Kamui or the Pur, but the V10 and Pagulayan last about a year of heavy play - which is totally worth it to me.

Introducing the new Bitman rack 😳

Modern pool cloth doesn’t have a nap. With new cloth and new balls they don’t reposition themselves. But as the cloth gets dents and imperfections around the rack area, yes they roll off. That’s the genius of the templates - they force the balls together

Fargo Rate - Not Much Math Here

Do you have stats on how “reliable” early results tend to be compared to established ratings? Like how 100 robustness for John Doe compares to 500 or 1000? I’ve seen some examples of local people who were off by 50 or more points based on early results (and settle up or down to the correct...

Fargo Rate - Not Much Math Here

Exactly. One tournament could have you 100 points too high or 100 points too low. It’s like a rookie MLB hitter who goes 4 for 10 in their first 10 at bats. Are they a .400 hitter? I mean, yes, at the moment, but it really tells you almost nothing.

Is removing your glove a shark move?

I have wondered that too! I wonder if it’s just a habit from when they weren’t using a glove, or perhaps just a routine to help clear the mind, or whether there really is something on the shaft they want to remove.

Who is the best player of the last 40 years not to win a major event?

Yeah, I think of Buffalo’s as more like the Wolrd Pool Masters - an elite field but a limited field. I know that the WPM is invitational, so it’s not a perfect parallel, but to me the DCC is much more of a major event in that it to win it you have to win lot of matches against great players.

Useful CB Control Principle for RAIL CUT SHOTS … Bringing the CB Back ALONG THE LINE

How many misses are we talking about? Like what would you say your success rate is for hitting these shots (and the hit). I was messing around with this last night for the first time but hitting the correct ball was hot and miss!

    Rhino MUST

I’ve had a Cynergy for 3 years and never had any issues with the ferrule. And I’ve not seen any issues with friends who have them. The SMO appears to come in Uniloc Quick Release and 3/8-10 as well (according to their website). As it happens I have switched to the Whyte Carbon - just like...

Going towards CF break shaft/cue, my options

Have you actually tried to new one that is replacing the 2.0? I haven’t seen one yet.

Going towards CF break shaft/cue, my options

I don’t think the Taom break tip is phenolic.

Going towards CF break shaft/cue, my options

Kinda a bad example, because when that cue was broken he never really recovered his top form.

Going towards CF break shaft/cue, my options

As a first step I would try getting a lower priced CF shaft to fit the Mezz Kai. Rhino sells a break shaft for under US 200. Neither the BK Rush nor the Cuetec Breach are CF butts, so it’s just the shaft. In terms of a jump/break CF I will say that my BK Rush jump break does jump better than my...

    Tip life

Yes, I’m not advocating a flat tip. I’m just trying to point to a possible explanation for the apparent miscue with a dime rather than a nickel.

    Tip life

If your tip is more curved, then you are probably hitting the CB lower than you are used to - so you might hit below the miscue limit with a very curved tip rather than the flatter one you are used to.

The $800 was joke (based on the previous joke of $1k). I think I paid like $20 for the Gator and it was well worth it.

Ha. I have one too. I will sell for 20% off. Only $800

That sucks. But there are other versions of the tool by different manufacturers. This one is interesting- comes both in flat and curved.
