I use 4 flourescent bulbs in my Diamond light. Most of the halls where I shoot also use then. But remember, there are several types of bulbs available. Daylight bulbs seems to work best for me. They give me the best light with the fewest shadows. Also, the color of cloth will make a difference...

I must be confused. $45.00 to $50.00 per hour for bowling?? Is that per lane or per person? When I was at Amsterdam Billiards I saw they charge $32.00 per hour for four players at peak time, and I thought that was crazy. I understand it is New York, but who can afford that on a regular basis...

Ronnie has been comimg around the HOB in Sherman Oaks quite often. He is trying to get his game back to a respectable level. Still knows the game.

They have skipped a year or two. Supposed to have one this December but got postponed until 2011. Got moved to the Peppermill along with the USPPA, world juniors, and wheelchair.

How about spotting the nine after every break? Nine does not count on the break. Would solve a lot of issues.

Wrap I have seen Ernie wrap a cue while you wait. He is really busy right now, but he should be able to get it done in a couple of days if you send it to him. I suggest you call him to discuss.

13 mm is the thickness of a common nickel? I think I have been "shortchanged"!!!

There are a couple of bars in town. That's about it. Be sure to take a walk up the Astoria Column. Its on top of the hill and gives you a nice view of the river. Have a nice trip!
