Can a case cause a shaft to warp?

I left my cue case in the car during the summer and here it reaches more than 130 F, here it reaches 60C degrees, which is equal to 140F degrees, and the Mezz shafts are still straight, amazing for mezz companies, but now I switched gears to Meucci, I wonder if they can withstand the same as...

Can a case cause a shaft to warp?

What's the best cue cases out there, say to get an un-warpable sort of case if that does exist. I've seen many pros using soft material cases, are those the best these days?

Can a case cause a shaft to warp?

Today a friend of mine checked two shafts of mine and said they are not straight, to me I'm not very picky and I told him that's nothing and to me I consider them straight, however he says that they are warping a little bit, like a very small wabble, I do agree but he is very picky, then he...

How I broke through my toughest plateau

Not to knockout your story but I knew from the get-go the answer, I knew what you were going to say even though you explained them in detail but to progress in pool the answer is very simple. Play more, practice more, them pros practice 10 hours a day! Get this in your head, and trust me, the...

    Jayson Shaw victim of cheating

When you guys discuss an encounter or something that happened in a pool match, it would be nice to show the relative video, at least a timestamp of it which the event occurred, so we can either chime on it or have some reference of the story. thanks. EDIT: I just saw the 14.1 situation video...

How long is a pool cue butt?

What hawaiian said is true, the default is 29 shaft and 29 inch butt, that’s default since the 80s, before that there were companies/customs that made even shorter cues, buddy hall swore by a cue that he played his best pool with and it a 57 inch cue. Back to your question tho. OB claims a cue...

    Props to J. Beretta............

So both of the players in the finals using revo shaft. Maybe it is true after all that this shaft boost you by one level, apparently it did for both players. Allison used to be good in the past but in recent years her speed has decreased but since switching to the revo she has claimed her old...

How to soften a to hard tip ?

Lepro is a great tip, it is the tip that I use on all of my cues, I got a great positional feeling while using it, but you are right, after just a little while it gets too hard, I love them the first few days from installation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    How much chalk

Dr Dave is wrong, it hugely depends on the chalk brand and the chalk condition. I went to a pool hall the other day where they give a chalk that is unknown to me at least, it’s color doesn’t matter but just to describe it to you guys it was light green, it also looked very old in use, I don’t...

    Three Point Break Rule

This is a rule that is used in many tournaments nowadays, WPA uses it, but I am wondering one thing, is there a condition or certain aspect in the game where this rule must be applied? Basically what I am asking is, is there a regulation that states that. If A is used, then the three-point...

    Short Races And Alternate Breaks

It's very simple, long races favors the stronger player, while on the other hand, short races favors the weaker player between the two. I'll add to this, if I am playing a weaker player than me in the pool hall, lets say he's a C player and I am a B player, I am better, but not by much, i'd...

Thanks for the info. I do like the Pro shaft myself, it's pretty good, I used to play with a hpII from mezz before which is also LD and really good shaft, but the Pro for me is just a tad better.

This is what Meucci claims, but they can be biased anyway it’s their product right? So you don’t expect partial judgement, I highly doubt that the pro shaft can have the same low deflection as the Z shaft which is 11.75mm, don’t get me wrong the pro shaft is awesome, but come on! A 12.5mm shaft...
