Have you guys ever heard of American Shuffle board tables?

What a nightmare... How about the wedges holding the aprons up? I believe these originally came from Royal Billiards who purchased them for the pool room directly from the manufacturer. American Shuffleboard Co. was out of Orange,NJ if I remember correctly. I worked on some tables for Bob @...

    Rail covering Gone Bad????

Believe it or not depending on the make of the cushions they could possibly mold themselves with the ripples, Whoever covered your table didn't do it correctly. It needs to be fixed! It is possible for the ripples to come out but that usually means your cloth will sag on the rails. The cloth...

    Name this table :)

I can't remember the name of this table off the top of my head but don't get this confused with the Big "G"... Big G is a pretty stout table if its put together correctly. The table listed here sold for $1500 new.

    Buying a Table?

Elephant Balls tables are built in Vietnam... Nothing more then a typical cheapo import. Horribly constructed, green chinese slae, uncured hardwood and finishes. They have a decent look to them but just like the sets dartman refers to, the tables have various flaws/problems. I was covering a...

trying to identify brand of table so i can try to find pocket covers (castings)

Cuemaster made a table with an eagle on a pedestal leg. If I remember correctly it had lag bolts holding the rails on. I don't think they veneered the underside of the rails. Does it have slate screws? Or, Is the slate floating?

    Slate Mover Thingy

A friend of mine engineered his own slate hauler that has a similar look. It has bigger tires and bicycle brakes from an old ten speed for going down steps. He has been moving tables on his own for decades. I just don't see it being practical for the majority of situations... I'll keep humpin'

Covering Antique Rails - Is this the right way???

The rails look great... The nail heads resemble the original tacks that were used prior to the adaption to staples. I like the retro look even though they will not be visible. I have a lot of appreciation for antique tables and really like the idea of putting in the extra effort by using a...
