Keep Watching "The Color of Money"

JAM, you and I PM'ed a while back about any type of studio-released shots of Keith as Grady Seasons, but you hadn't been able to locate any.....hence my screenshot. Any luck in locating any images? Maybe if they release TCOM on BlueRay, someone will be able to pull off a cleaner image. If...

I've pulled off a few screenshots from the DVD, but they're not the clearest pictures.

I have a large, heavy margarita glass that I threw an old rack of balls in to make a decorative piece for my home pool room. I like the scorekeeper idea as well!

My first impressions after 3 weeks of league play

Dave, I play in local BCA/ACS/Valley leagues in Porter County, just east of you. Most bars don't have extra tables for practice, so I make sure I get there early to hit at least one rack of balls prior to the league match. The general rule is that the visiting team gets the table from 7:00 to...

    Best One-Pocket Players

Even though many feel he's "over the hill", Efren did recently win some small one-pocket tourney (grin). Also, Shannon Daulton is a threat to win any matchup at any time.

    PM question.....

There is a free, downloadable PM reader that stores the messages so you can read them similarly to an e-mail client. You export the messages in HTML format and import them into the reader. I've been using it for a few months and it seems to work great. Check out the download here...

If these are the "DCC" rates this year, they've gone up. Can anyone confirm (Greg?) the "DCC" rate for rooms for 2010?

    Best Methods for Wrapping Cues

I take a piece of surgical tubing about 1 1/2" long and run the linen through the tube before starting the wrap. As I spin the cue in the lathe, I pinch the linen in the piece of tube and I seem to get pretty consistent tension.

Telling us how the pros should shoot in chat

I agree with Rod here. Most of those shooting off at the keyboard would be mum if face to face with the Pro's they were bashing. Also, I find that most people who jump up and brag about how good they play when the subject of pool comes up are usually bangers without a clue. Most people who...

Do your coworkers take your pool game seriously?

I explain the cost of my cues/equipment to people in the following way: "Do you ski? How much did you spend on your skis? $200.00? How about your boots and bindings? Another $250.00? Clothing, gloves, other accessories? Another $200.00? At this point, you have several hundred dollars...
