Some people claim the rubber bumper acts as a dampener and without one, a cue has a more of a "crisp" hit to it.

Any idea what the green rings are? The cue is very nice and the colors work well. Good luck with your sale.

I've heard of some people buying a "standard" butt and having undersized shafts made to fit their child's age/size. As the child grows, additional shafts are made to size until a "standard" shaft is finally used.
