    Vintage cue Wood ID

I think this is an old Mali, late 60’s. The thin black cap on the end of a Marble sleeve, the Palmer-esque rings, the pin and the finish over the joint point me in the Mali direction. I’m curious about the wood. It would appear to be some tropical hardwood, Mahogany or possible some cousin...

    Cues: Joss/Falcon for Brunswick

I would agree, not Joss quality but actually a little better. Joss likes to use rounded synthetic inlays where these are wood on wood inlays. Much cleaner looking IMHO.

I don’t recall seeing a Rich with that style of buttcap and weight bolt.

    Cues: Joss/Falcon for Brunswick

I don’t really see a problem with the inlays. I think a hard part about identifying Brunswick cues is that they outsourced cue production from the 60’s to present. Some great and some terrible. My oldest outsourced Brunswick cue is a Brunswick by Palmer from the late 60’s. Nearly identical...

Cue Identification and Verification? - One Scruggs

The only similarity between that cue and a Schon is the Acme pin Schon used for 1 year. Not a Schon, IMHO.

    Cues: Joss/Falcon for Brunswick

I’m away from home where the cue is, but I never noticed anything wrong with the inlays. The only issue I have with the cue is it is missing the weight bolt, which holds the buttcap on. Regarding how it plays, it plays damn good. I prefer it to my pre-92 Schon. Falcon’s have great shaft...

    Help identify this pool cue?

Aluminum insert points to Gandy/National which both Ricco Cervantes and Helmstetter worked at, at least National. Looks like an HC-150 by Gandy.

    Cracked shaft repair question

I picked up an old Helmstetter(Julio Stamboulini) for cheap and in the dark, so I did not see the crack. I picked up some thin CA that I figure will wick in when the crack is opened up. A)Should I use the screw to open the crack, if so, does it need some sort of protectant on the screw to keep...

I want to say Ajay, but they usually had a black and white stripe on the ferrule. Similar pin though.

I have never had a shipped package lost though I have a handful be late with one being extremely late. I’m not sure what the rush is about. The buyer paid for a service that is out of your control. If you shipped it correctly and paid for extra insurance, it’s no skin off your back. I ship...
