#1 its 9 ball. #2 its a very short race. At this caliber anyone can beat anyone else in a short race. I really dont think you can say anything about which player is "better" given the circumstances of their meetings. They need to play a loooooong race to really make a sound judgement.

If he ran 96 in straight pool he is no B player.... no way, no how.... I ran 50 one time, although I do not play the game much. Agreed, running 96 is a ton more difficult than a 5 pack on a BB.

You figure you would have to have a Break and Run average of greater than 50% to beat the 9 ball ghost without BIH. The Percentage would have to be even higher if you wanted to win regularly. If you arent playing on a familiar table and pattern-racking, I dont see anyone being able to beat this...

Thats how Ive always played. Where I play, we only spot balls prior to the money ball. You never get BIH when shooting at a money ball. I have seen some people play where any ball pocketed illegally is spotted. The bottom line is this should be cleared up at the beginning of the game.

In Clearwater the rates are awesome. Most the local places are 5$ all you can play open to 7. Hammerheads is now FREE during the day with a purchase from the bar. Evening rates are typically 4-5$/hour per person. Playing during the day is the way to go!
