Thinking of buying a Spitz cue

Hey guys and gals... Thinking of buying a Spitz cue. Had a chance to test hit one yesterday. Any reviews? I'd love to hear good, bad, or ugly about the cues. However from the one I test hit, I have to say I'm impressed. Always open to advice, suggestions, critiques and concerns. Thanks...

    Mezz shaft warpage question?

I looked at it a little closer at the pool hall today. It appears to be bent in 2 places. Bowed pretty bad in the middle, and just a few inches short of the ferrule. It's been over a year since the cue was purchased, so possibly just going to buy another shaft.

    Mezz shaft warpage question?

Thanks guys. Emailed mezz to double check. will call them tomorrow also. Does anyone have an idea of what the shaft might actually be worth? It looks to me that it has 2mm of roll in the center of the shaft. Thanks again.

    Mezz shaft warpage question?

A good friend of mine bought a Mezz a few years back. The shaft was taken care of and played very lightly. The shaft has developed a warp. Wasn't re-tapered or tampered with. Does Mezz offer a replacement policy for warpage on shafts? Any Mezz dealers or Mezz people on here that might know...

FS: Ebony Ivory Shurtz 60" Beauty

Thanks guys. This is a ton of cue for the money. Plays great. Looks great. The balance on this cue is superb. You really don't notice the extra length until you need it. That's the point lol.

Advice for picking a cue? Suggestions needed.

Paulie... Yeah I'm absolutely terrible but I've got decent mechanics. It normally all goes wrong in that space between my ears, or I just can't get my vision settled on the shot. Thanks Ray. I'm guessing getting use to an Olney is never a bad thing. Thanks everyone for the words of...

Nah. Pantanas. Brass Tap is a great pool hall though. Not up there very much because it just sketches me out sometimes.

Advice for picking a cue? Suggestions needed.

Good advice from both you guys. -19oz, stiff hit, wrap or wrapless, 13.3-12.5mm. I've had a few Olney's, Carolinas, Jacobys, etc etc. It is very true about mechanics too. I can power follow a cue ball 2 tables and draw the ball 1.5 tables. The power, english, throw shots, etc is all there as...

Advice for picking a cue? Suggestions needed.

Hey All. I've been playing about 2 years. Been fortunate enough to bartend at a pool hall, shoot alot and trade alot of cues. I'm trying to stick with a cue. Just wondering if the general consensus is to find a cue that plays and feels right and stick with it.... or if it is ok to shoot...

    Kamui or Moori?

Agreed. Tip selection is very subjective. I like a hard tip. I can control any throw and center ball shots feel crisper. Some cues hit really stiff and I don't mind backing down to a medium. I just like the kamui because it doesn't mushroom at all. I play too much draw so anything else...

    Kamui or Moori?

thanks for all the suggestions and advice. Tried the moori and it plays ok. Sticking with a Kamui though. I'm not one to jump on bandwagons.... however I do have to say the Kamui works great and I think superior to other tips... for my personal liking atleast. I'm sticking with a Kamui...

Thanks Dave. I know with as many cues as you work on on a daily basis that means something. Also with the warranty that's great.

    Shaft Inserts. Longevity?

Thanks guys. Yes it is actually phenolic. Which I keep hearing is a good standing point. With that said, I've heard that they should hold up. I just always wondered if the insert had tendencies to come loose from the shaft over time? If not, I guess I would assume it's a pretty solid cue...
