    GC 1 or 2

As I told you in your other post in the Main Forum, this is a Gold Crown I. There is no mistaking this for a II. I even laid out the differences for you and provided a link to the Brunswick Gold Crown II Sell Sheet from 1975.

    Gold Crown II

The table was never a coin-op. I'm not even sure you could do that on a Gold Crown I the way the ball return is setup.

    Gold Crown II

Ideally, you would want someone experienced with executing to perform the task. The idea is to shave just enough material to land on the desired angle based on the thickness of your rails. I'm rather handy; cosmetically restored my Gold Crown I, built my own Gold Crown Light and Gold Crown...

    Gold Crown II

A competent mechanic can get the nose height correct but the fact is, moden K55 rubber is 1/8" bigger that the Monarch SuperSpeed cushions that the tables were originally equipped with. Without modifying the subrail, you lose the 2:1 ratio playing surface. You wind up with 49.75" x 99.75" vs...

    That's a Gold Crown I.

    Gold Crown II

Make sure it is an actual Gold Crown II. Many people think their Gold Crown I is a II because it has adjustable feet, a metal nameplate and/or floating nut plates in the rails. These were all features introduced during Gold Crown I production (1961-1974). The Gold Crown II (1974-1976) was an...

    Monarch cushions

Haven't the slightest idea. Perhaps it's just the model number, like AR 6100 is the model number for the GCI.

No there is not and no they won't.

    Monarch cushions

Say what? All cushions for a Pro 8' and a 9' table are 48" long. I think someone is telling you a story if they are saying Artemis are the only cushions that will fit. Love to see a pic of your table! It's not often you see a true Gold Crown II...

    Monarch cushions

Very likely you've got some dead spots. First, are you certain your table is a Gold Crown II? There's lots of misinformation out there. It is more than likely a Gold Crown I as the GCII was only offered from '74-'76. Either way, the subrail bevel will need to be adjusted to accept modern K55...

    3d printed sub rail extensions.🤔

Material density is also an issue when it comes to cushion play. Having a foreign material at the ends of the rails/at the pockets will impact playability. Durability, as others have mentioned, could come into play as well.

    New Pro Cut Diamond

Who measured the angle? If your friend, what did he use and are you confident he knows how to use the tool?

Identifying Rail Cushions? Klematch? For 9 ball?

Towards the end, Hard Times Bellflower would flip the cloth over on the tables on the non tournament side. It was like playing on corduroy.

    GC1 ?

You might have a Gold Crown II. It came Rosewood stained with bronze ball tray bezel and feet. Rare table. https://brunswick.pastperfectonline.com/library/8CFF21D7-97E9-4FEF-B897-112586024390

Identifying Rail Cushions? Klematch? For 9 ball?

To put it kindly, that is not a good table. At all. It doesn't matter what you do, your table is never going to play anywhere near what a commercial table in a pool hall plays like. I've never seen a table without pocket facings; not a good thing.

Identifying Rail Cushions? Klematch? For 9 ball?

Unless he got a different table, it's a no name 7'. See post #3 in the thread linked below. https://forums.azbilliards.com/threads/understanding-which-simonis-cloth-for-next-re-cover.540968/#post-7205283

Identifying Rail Cushions? Klematch? For 9 ball?

Too little info to help you out. Tables speed is soooo much more than just cloth. What kind of table and playing surface? What cushions (brand and profile)? Are the cushions properly installed? What's the nose height of the cushion?
