    What's up with this guy?

I still don't get how a guy can pocket a ball without some kind of pivot or back hand english especially when hitting the cue ball off center. Damn.

Are the long straight ins really the toughest shot?

good advice, I didn't know that. I usually practice this shot as a centerball stop shot because it is hard. I need to get a little lucky to hit it perfect. I made this tape a few days ago. https://vimeo.com/39948210 steven

Are the long straight ins really the toughest shot?

bbb, I agree the long shot will expose any flaw, it might be the most important shot in the game, and a great shot to practice, or hit a few before a tournament to gage how you might be stroking that day. I saw Mike Sigel hitting them before a match with Mika. Mike hits the shot pretty good. I...

Are the long straight ins really the toughest shot?

first of all none of these shots are hard. Work is hard. However... there are 2 factors that make any given shot less likely to go in. Distance and angle. the thinner the hit or greater distance apart cue ball and object ball are from each other the less margin for error in the hit. the long...

    shotmaker test

I have never been a huge fan of drills. however, i did give yours a go the other day and the one thing I did notice is that it does take concentration. I can play a half decent game if i am thinking right, or should i say not overthinking, or something, but the mind has to be right and drills...

    Broke My High Run

congrats, that is a lot of balls. I think I will add "I was thinking so much to myself how I was going to write this up on the Forum here" to my list of the many ways to mess up a run. It has happened to me as well. Maybe the number 2 spot right under "sharked by the cat". How long did it...
