You knowing the RPM speed doesn't matter, you will know if it's to fast or to slow the part in the machine will let you know that. And the reason i know that is, if it did make a difference I WOULD HAVE ONE!!! HA HA

I have a OB-2 shaft that is new, I tapped it for a 3/8-11 just to see how it hit and put it back in the plastic sleeve, can be plugged and re tapped for what ever thread you prefer.

Delrin Gib Evidently the rest of you aren't haven't any problems, at least not posted. These gib's won't work on my Hightower lathe, do not need tabs, they are to wide, and no hole for the screw's that hold them in place. Am i missing something, or am i supposed to finish them?
