    Fatboy live in Las Vegas

Actually Eric, it was at Tiptons. We played on the front table and Mike had another friend with him. The three of us played and I walked out of there with my pockets bulging with change! LOL It didn't take Mike long to get a whole lot better. I remember you too. You used to hang out at...

    Fatboy live in Las Vegas

Mike Mitchell AKA the Milkman. I used to rob him playing pea pool. Now he'd beat me to death with a broom handle! LOL

    Jacoby or Samsara? Advice needed!

It's a black implex joint. When I ordered it, I asked for a simple cue that is one of his best hitting cues with a leather wrap. It's longer than most cues too. It has a 30" butt and a 30" shaft. The cue has no inlays.

    Jacoby or Samsara? Advice needed!

I have a Jacoby and I like it a lot. It does have kind of a soft hit and you do have to get used to it. Never tried a Samsara so I can't comment on that cue. Good luck! I hope you pick the right cue for you.

USPPA Reno players, did they get paid?

I'm not an attorney either. That being said, I would think if I was a CEO of a casino and someone wanted to host a poker game and a pool tournament in my casino, I'd want to see his business plan. I would not want somebody hosting any event in my casino that didn't have a good business plan...

USPPA Reno players, did they get paid?

Annigoni It is my understanding that the best way to litigate is to use an attorney that is familiar with the court of jurisdiction, in other words, an attorney that practices law in Washoe county. It will be less costly because you won't have the travel fees and the attorney would be...

USPPA Reno players, did they get paid?

Hi Tom. How have you been? Still running tournaments? Still going to Hardtimes? One of these days, I'd like to get over that way. I guess it's just as well the USPPA is defunct. It has been marred over and over and I guess this is just the nail in the coffin. It's a great idea on paper...

US Open 1P - Bad Manners

I worked in a pool hall on the weekends just so I could play for free. I never yelled at anyone for being discourteous to the equipment. What I did was to get their attention and ask them to come to me. Then I explained in a nice way that other people enjoy the equipment and would appreciate...

USPPA Reno players, did they get paid?

I know Tony and this just blows me away! This just doesn't sound like the guy I know!!! I hope he finds his way to make this right. So is the USPPA defunct now?

JoeyA Got hold of Lectric Mike at Buffalo's Billiards last night!

Jam Maybe you should check for diabetes just to be safe. Diabetes can sneak up on you and mess with your eyes pretty bad. Hope that's not it but you never know till you check it out.

Are there still people that think this way?

I agree with Needo. I think there is such a huge difference between the number of men playing this game and the number of women playing this game that it is hard for women to have as much overall talent.

    A word to the wise

I think the smartest thing to do when you're racking is to lay your entire cue on the bed of the table as you suggest and place it diagonally across the table so the other player doesn't shoot until you take your cue off the table. This gives you a chance to get out of the way before the cue...

    Reyes vs. Frost Live Stream

Efren shot pretty poorly for him. He is 53 so you gotta give him some slack. I've watched him play all day and all night many times and that has to take a toll on you when you hit your fifties. Besides, who knows? Efren might get better matches now. This could work in his favor. I just...

    Slip Stroke/Shot:

This is a good point. It was explained to me that a "slip stroke", the kind Jimmy Moore used, was actually just what you're describing above. His hand slides back and forth on his cue until he pulls the trigger. The cue doesn't slide through his hand once the trigger is pulled. Many players...

    Jointed Cue Tournament

Josh, I thought you played pretty well. Trevor was really playing exceptionally well. Getting third place in that tournament is nothing to sneeze about!! I thought you had a great attitude too! It was a pleasure talking to you!
