I have to make a public apology to Scott Frost and yes Dippy on here, because of something I said a couple of months ago on a thread about them. I told people to be careful about betting on their impending match, as if there might be some form of collusion. I was wrong and for that I apologize.

Scott is my friend and I damaged our friendship by saying what I did. He has forgiven me already but my conscience still bothers me. I put it on here so I feel I must also apologize here. I don't have any relationship with Dippy and prefer it that way, but I was still wrong to say what I did.

These two may play again soon in Vegas. My only comment is that to win Scott must once again outrun the nuts :cool:. He's done it twice already, so who knows, maybe he can do it one more time.

tried to rep u..gotta spread it around some 1st..props to u for admitting a wrong you did...none of us like to do it but we are all guilty of it.

It's a pain in the butt to admit when you're wrong, but it shows the other person a lot of respect when ya do.
 
Yep. Words are powerful! You are definitely doing the right thing by apologizing.
 
A strong move, Jay. You've always been held in high regard here; a post like this shows that your reputation is well-deserved.
 
We have never met Jay, but I want to say "Well done".

Having a pair just makes one a male, What you have just done is part of what makes a real man. :yes:

First off this is the first I even heard of this, I have zero knowlege about anything(game, player, backer or bet), except that lose lips sink ships,

you would think that after 50 years of being around pool you would know better than to mention "business" about anyones action, weather your involved or not.


And why it aint easy to step up and admit your wrong is pathetic, when i'm wrong, i'm wrong. I learn from my mistakes, to me thats a good thing "not easy", LOL Cleaning up your mess is your business but you get no praise out of me for unwinding something you said, you shit where you eat, deal with it and move on. getting praise like you really did something is a joke, you got lucky nothing happened IMO. I wasnt involved so I have no horse in this, but it makes me sick to see a guy correct himself and get "praised" by others. you really got'em fooled man.

Somethings are just best left unsaid, justs sayin'


I seen guys get the hell beat out of them for talking about "Business", but now that people can hide behind their keyboards they just dont think. They pop off at the mouth when they shouldnt. then come back months later and clean up their mess and get thanked.


Give that some thought, IMO its weak as it gets. you should call Scott and Dip and apologize to them privately and move on. Nuff said.

Jay I don't know you at all, but it shows a lot of character to post what you did. Props.
 
Jay, I remember the comment you made and at the time, I didn't think you had any inside knowledge of collusion. I took it to mean that there was no stone-cold sucker in this matchup and betting that there is, is risky. Maybe other people took it differently.

Still, if Scott called you on it and was bothered by it, the best thing you can do is come on here and clear things up. Your reputation here has always been solid. It's no surprise to me that you'd step up and do the right thing.
 
Credit to Jay for the apology but anytime there is a ton of money on the side it is smart to be careful.

Eric, I gotta call BULLSHIT on this post. Sounds like you got something personal going on with Jay that YOU need to handle in private.

First of all, was Jay wrong? Yes, not only was he wrong, he gave people the wrong impression of Dippy and Frost and that could STILL affect them in the future. Not everyone will catch this thread. By clearing this up, it helps both of their images where he may have damaged them to the public.

Jay's post doesn't fully make up for what he said, but I'm glad he posted this. Not only is it hard to admit when you are wrong, its good to help clear the air and fix bad reps that may not be deserving.

Rep to Jay for his post but no love at all for Eric's... sorry.
